Laura was a "Castrato" = a castrated male singer, as are many "female" stars. We now refer to them as transgender, but it's certainly nothing new.
She was so amazingly beautiful and talented and she definitely left us way too soon. It's seems like yesterday I was driving to Chicago from Louisiana and stopped in a truck stop in Arkansas or maybe Missouri and heard Gloria for the first time at around 3:00 AM . It's strange how and what you remember many years later.

Wow thanks! I always knew Laura had beauty to go with her talent but up to now had only seen her in conservative outfits. Here she's rocking a bare midrift outfit with all her usual class! She truly was the complete package. Modern singers take notes!
She is so gorgeous, so lovely woman and a very modest one. A great woman that many singers should look at her and see how beautiful you can be and so warm and humble, at the same time. She had a great talent but has never shown any arrogance and insisted in demostrating her pure presentation and performance to the audience, with no fuss. I am in love with her and hope with all my heart, that she knew , that she was so appreciated and loved.

Your voice will always be a missing link in a hit single - A Laura Branigan song was known when you heard it play on the radio - just a unique voice......... someone should do a complete remake of all her hits and bring them all back - the music charts need her again.
