Just a guy Do you even know what a hillbilly is? Haggard Garage are city kids compared to hillbillies. And they do stupid shit to their cars just to piss people like you off lol.
Your attention to detail and persistence to do everything properly, to the best of your ability, is absolutely admirable. Have been loving the videos! Keep up the great work!
Just watched all the projects videos for your 240sx builds, makes me want to get the twin turbo 300zx i have rusting away and do something with it !!! Keep up the good work mate!
i ended up here trying to find info out about how to stich weld my car. this is definitely the most informative video for what i was after. really enjoyed watching the whole vid and will be watching your other vids tomorrow after work. your build looks like it will be awesome. great work
Hey man big fan of ur work really and was hopeing I could get some tips on what tools u need to tube the front end and where did you learn all this ur a big help to a lot of beginners like myself who just want to drift and have fun with there cars
Dude your like a surgeon. I welded 22 years and worked in a machine shop, and I painted at both places to. But I think you clean your welding surface better than a painter. Every time I go to open my mouth I have to remove it you pull it out of your hat. Don't worry about how nice your welds look just keep your pace, but on thin metal welding small area's at a time would be wise. I think if the motor was out you could have done a better job. As a video series this is excellent a lot better than orange county chopper. When I weld now all I use is flux-core wire, because you don't need shielding gas. yeah there's some slag like arc welding but it works good enough for me. But I would have jumped all over welding it an inch here an inch on the opposite side inch in the middle the go to the other side and do it car metal is thin. About 1983 I bought a 1969 mustang fastback the front a frame was coming loose so I pulled the engine degreased it and wiped it down with acitone. Then I used a portapower to press it back where it belonged welded it back.I put a brace over the the engine tower to tower.I only Painted the engine compartment and it still looked new. So I have little faith in uni-body cars. My favorite looking cars were Opel GT, Datsun 240Z, 1974 AMC Javelin Javeline was the best.
in love with your videos been a fan since getting started. i enjoyed watching you learn how to drift. i was super excited when you got le drift II. im with you all the way! every video gets a thumbs up! your releasing solid content consistently and im super stoked to see the finished fabication! i hope your youtube channel will eventually lead to sponsors! Gahhh! these make me happy :)
Hey man! I love your videos! I applaud you for your ability to tolerate all the negative comments, some are constructive but I'm glad you handle them positively! I hate seeing the debate between KA/SR/RB/JZ engines. I'm glad to see someone else going a turbo KA route, I may do the same haven't decided. Anyways keep up the good work and positive attitude! If you already have shirts or hats already let me know, I'd love to rock some of your stuff! Hopefully we can slide together one day man!
Brian Krem Thanks for noticing that I'm sticking with the KA even though there is a lot of debate against it :) I should have at least hats out within 2 weeks, I'll probably post an update video telling people about it. Hopefully one day we can drift together, that would be cool. Thanks and have a good one!
9:25 and thats why direction of spin is marked on the grinder body just fyi =D also i think someone explained stitch welding to you wrong. the way you did it is "just to hold something thats not important". i know thats obv not the case in this situation (and also 1" 1" is way much for that thickness) as theres a bunch of the stock welds left and your going to probs add more strength than stock with the tube front, however; the do an inch skip an inch way is for things that need to be strong but a full weld is overkill so you weld 1/2 of your total length but split it up to distribute the load and the heat when you weld it. if you weld 1" skip 1" over 1' you've got 6" of weld per 1'. if you tack (1/8th" ish i gues looking at the pics) every 1" over 1' (as you did) you've got 1 1/2" of weld per 1'. better load distribution (as you talked about) dont mean jack when you only welded 1/8 of your seam rather than 1/2 no matter how you split it up.... you should be (if your tacks are 1/8th) marking every 1/8th and do 1 skip one to get 1/2 total weld.
Thanks for another great vid OffBeat Garage when I found your channel I noticed you weren't trying to be different from the other build a car in 5 with your sponsors an I think you've really achieved it plus I read threw some of the comments an I like your "rambling" I've been waiting for the new vid an it extends it an keeps them from being before an after witch is why your channels different an makes it worth waiting for love the vids love the logo hoping to see stickers soon
The only videos of yours I've watched is this one and episode 1 & 2.. nice work man, you're doing things legit! You earned a subscriber as I now want to see how things progress with this car. Love the 90s Nissans (except the Sentra).
Really love your videos bro. I have learned alot. Really like how you go into detail and explain the funtions of the parts you're working on. Keep it up man. Thumbs up!
Really great stuff man! I don't know if it's in your genes or your upbringing but your attention to detail and video editing is incredible. I'm am looking forward to the next update. It'd be sic once my S14 is track ready to hit some of the events in your area.
hey, quick tip for next time: when grinding near engine, cover up engine, or at least the dynamo. it is one big magnet so it is destroyed pretty easy with metal sparks. other than that, my god i am jealous... keep up the good work!!!
I'm betting these vids come in handy for the re-assembly time. If I ever get to start on my project it might be a good idea to get a camera so I don't put the engine bay in upside down!
In my opinion your page is better than haggard garage and also I love watching vids like this not even for the knowledge I myself do custom fab work and run a automotive shop just I love seeing others projects and I love the entertainment I wish the best of luck to you and your build
I have to say man I'm realy enjoying You video's and learnig every singele. One of them something new You have been blessed my man I wish I had the time/knowledge or the car to do this with
For everyone asking! He learnt to drift N/A and discussed in comments a few videos back with myself and somebody else that he will be boosting it simply because when he did track runs, he got to the limits of the car and couldn't link corners and chain drift properly because some corners were too extended, so he's slowly giving it boost and slowly building power as he needs it, not a "RB25DET 600hp monster for D1GP" just, enough for what he needs, till he needs more.
Awesome video bro, you're the only one out here showing us how to do this. Many know how but don't even bother. However, I would like to know what measurements and size of pipes are in spec for D1 racing because if you're going to do something this extreme, you must get as well do it correctly.
I'm not sure if it's just me, I do have some pretty bad eyes but when you were stitch wielding it was really bright. But any way what I was gonna say is I like how these videos are somewhat tutorials. These will help a lot once I get my hands on a car.
That 86 hat tho........ I hope thats my shout out because I wanted an Off Beat Garage hat in teal, HAHA seriously tho, love the vids and the snaps. Keep it up
There are three things that if you were to make a video on would be for the the first drift car. The first thing would be a different exhaust, because it looks a little too big and it is also little messed up due to how low the exhaust sits. The second thing would be to paint the trim around windows and things like that. The last thing and least important is that i think the car would look real nice with white wheels. I just had to put in my 2 cents lol
Looks great !! tubed front would be nice to have. I happened to have a bunch of thick piping that would be perfect for tubed haha i just don't know how confident i feel in cutting my front end off.
Complete opposite of Haggard, nice work bud!
Hagard garage is just a bunch of stupid hill billys who think that making some hood flaps and a chevy exhaust tip on a miata is rice.....idiots
Is an asian still considered hill billy cause one of them is half cambodian
Look at the name of their channel, the channel was designed on acting stupid and doing things wrong.
Just a guy Do you even know what a hillbilly is? Haggard Garage are city kids compared to hillbillies. And they do stupid shit to their cars just to piss people like you off lol.
Their cars, their rules :)
I love how you are such a perfectionist. Most people would not put that much work in to the small things. I love the series too
Timmy Ball Why thank you :)
its so interesting being subbed to you and haggard garage at the same time. you doing everything the right way and haggard doing stuff... haggard lol
snipermonkey321 and yet this is still haggard compered to toms turbo garage!
Yeah, toms turbo garage does everything right and has all the tools and everything lol
+snipermonkey321 the benefits of money lol
Your attention to detail and persistence to do everything properly, to the best of your ability, is absolutely admirable. Have been loving the videos! Keep up the great work!
Mighty Car Mods, Haggard Garage, OffBeat Garage 💙❤️❤️💙
Yasssss
I love how proper you do everything, like if its not the right way you still end up doing it the right way. Love it.

Greg Comeau Haha okay which song, the La, La, La one?
***** That's the one
Greg Comeau pls dont use it next time, i think its extremely annoying :D ,actually the only thing how you could improve your videos ^^
Dude your like a surgeon. I welded 22 years and worked in a machine shop, and I painted at both places to.

Show us whats in those Enkei boxessssssssss
12 seconds in the video & that music is the sh***t bro!! BEST ENTRY EVER FROM YOU!!! keep u with those vids man ;D
+Javier Ortega You don't have a reply button under your comment. The wheels are a secret :3
***** make daily vids
Good video
***** you should buy a 69 dodge charger r/t for a rally build so i can really enjoy that series
Haha that would be sick. If anything though I'd do a ~65 Mustang drift build
***** I feel like that has been done before
in love with your videos been a fan since getting started. i enjoyed watching you learn how to drift. i was super excited when you got le drift II. im with you all the way! every video gets a thumbs up! your releasing solid content consistently and im super stoked to see the finished fabication! i hope your youtube channel will eventually lead to sponsors! Gahhh! these make me happy :)

Love your videos! I've been waiting all day to watch this keep up the good work!
WHAT ARE THOOOOOSE
Hey man! I love your videos! I applaud you for your ability to tolerate all the negative comments, some are constructive but I'm glad you handle them positively!

this build is the reason for your hair loss
love the series dude so fun to watch
Am i the only one who has checked every single day for ep. 4? Cant wait!
Great video ! Gonna do my tube front when I get everything all sorted out.
9:25 and thats why direction of spin is marked on the grinder body just fyi =D
also i think someone explained stitch welding to you wrong. the way you did it is "just to hold something thats not important". i know thats obv not the case in this situation (and also 1" 1" is way much for that thickness) as theres a bunch of the stock welds left and your going to probs add more strength than stock with the tube front, however;
the do an inch skip an inch way is for things that need to be strong but a full weld is overkill so you weld 1/2 of your total length but split it up to distribute the load and the heat when you weld it.
if you weld 1" skip 1" over 1' you've got 6" of weld per 1'.
if you tack (1/8th" ish i gues looking at the pics) every 1" over 1' (as you did) you've got 1 1/2" of weld per 1'.
better load distribution (as you talked about) dont mean jack when you only welded 1/8 of your seam rather than 1/2 no matter how you split it up....
you should be (if your tacks are 1/8th) marking every 1/8th and do 1 skip one to get 1/2 total weld.

I just had to put in my 2 cents lol
Looks great !! tubed front would be nice to have. I happened to have a bunch of thick piping that would be perfect for tubed haha i just don't know how confident i feel in cutting my front end off.
Wow love the longer videos im going to share this.
