I do like to use liners sometimes, however the texture of the pie was still soft in the middle... i'm thinking maybe cook at a lower temp so the middle can get done next time. Thanks for watching!

I do cornbread casserole (I believe it's Paula Dean's recipe but not super sure lol) with Jiffy mix, butter, creamed corn, drained whole kernel corn, and sour cream !! It's SO GOOD ! But takes what feels like 6 years to cook 😂

I have used frozen chicken and frozen hamburgers for years in the slow cooker as long as you are cooking it on high for 4 to 6 hours or on low for 8 to 10 you are just fine. Everything is cooked very well and you should have a meat thermometer anyway to double check. I’ve never had one problem. It all comes out very tender.

I make the Olive Garden copycat Gnocchi with kale, just like they do, plus I use sausage instead of chicken. Next time, I am going to try it with chicken instead of the sausage.
These videos are SO helpful! I love that easy Teriyaki Chicken recipe you shared a while back. I used Coconut Aminos instead of soy sauce & that meant I could share it with my parents- one is in a renal diet-it is super delicious! And the brown sugar could easily be replaced with Swerve if someone needed to do that for family, too!

For the chicken and rice, you can use 1 can cream of chicken and 1 can cream of celery. Also, if your not at home to add in the rice 2 hours before you can make rice on the store or in a pressure cooker according to package directions and its still just as yummy. My family loves this in the fall and winter and will ask for it several time through the summer as well!
Thank you for sharing, might try putting parchment paper on the bottom of the crock pot before the pie crust and then should be able to lift the pie out by the paper after it is done :)

I think one of the concerns with slow-cooking frozen meats is having the meat reach an unsafe temperature before it attains the crock pot temp. If the cook uses safe food handling techniques and has enough liquid in the container to cover and warm the meats, it should be okay. I've had slow-cooker recipes go from yum to yuck even with raw, unfrozen meats because I didn't have enough liquid in the crock.
I wonder if I could add some greens at the end..like spinach..etc..🤔 I'm dead going to make all my cream of chicken..celery and mushroom 🍄 Awesome recipe..thank you 😋

We love jiffy cornbread...I usually add a 1/4 cup of sweetened condensed milk to mine...sweet, but total game changer!
Those dishes all looked delicious... I'm wondering if you have ever tried lining your crock pot with either Parchment Paper or Aluminum Foil when doing the Pecan Pie? If you run it up on the sides, you could pretty much just lift your pie out and if the pie broke apart in the middle from the lift, the foil or paper would naturally catch the contents...either way it sure looked good! Thanks!

Can you share the info on how we can cook chicken frozen in the crock pot/how you do it? I’d love to know more about that and how to do it right. I love beans and cornbread! Is that the instant pot type muffin tin you’re using? I didn’t know that could go in the air fryer too, awesome! I love my cast iron skillet but that thing is heavy and hot in the summer. I would cook frozen chicken on high until done, then add other ingredients. You won't need a lot of liquid for cooking them this way, however I would add the amount of liquid my recipe is calling for. Just remember that some liquid will cook out of the chicken. The cornbread pan was a silicone accessory pan that came with my air fryer. So far, i'm loving it. Thanks for watching!
I love pecan pie. I've never made it before because I hate turning on my oven. But now have a recipe to do it in my crock pot. The chicken and rice sounds yummy though I'd use cream of chicken instead of celery. Not a big fan of celery.

I'm not a big fan of celery cooked, however it does add lots of flavor. Definitely my choice for some of these recipes.
I made this today. Cooked the beans 10 hours on low, they were undercooked. Will try again but high 5 hours. The rest was fine.
Could baking liner be used under the pie for easy removal???
