Why MBBS in UK
MBBS in the UK is a 5 to 6-year program offer after your 12th
43 of the top UK universities are amongst the top 650 medical universities of the world
The average salary of a Doctor/Physician in the UK is 67% more than that of other health and medical occupations
The pay grade of Doctors in UK has increased from 250k GBP in 2016 to 320k GBP in 2023
Graduates of MBBS from UK universities are not required to appear for Foreign Medical Graduate Examination to practice in India
MBBS in the USA takes 7 to 9 years to complete while in the UK, it can be completed in 5 to 6 years
A report by General Medical Council, showed how International Medical Graduates are increasing in the UK medical workforce showing popularity of MBBS in the UK amongst Indian students.
Eligibility Criteria
The student must be more than 18 years of age.
The students must score good scores which is more than 90% in their 12th standard (scores in Chemistry and Biology are essential in this case)
The students must be from international boards or ICSE/CBSE boards.
The student will have to clear entrance exams in the UK such as UK Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) or the Biomedical Admissions Test (BMAT)
Students with IELTS score greater than 7 gets an edge over other students however its not mandatory for MBBS in UK

Any diploma or other course certificate (if student has pursued)

In the UK, most medical schools require applicants to sit for the UK Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) or the BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT). These tests assess your critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
UCAT - You can submit your application to five different universities using just one form
There are four reasoning tests and a situational judgement test.
1. Verbal Reasoning. 21 minutes and 44 questions
2. Quantitative reasoning. 25 minutes and 36 questions.
3. Abstract reasoning. 12 minutes and 55 questions.
4. Decision Analysis. 31 minutes and 28 questions
5. Situational Judgement. 26 minutes and 67 questions
BMAT - The Biomedical Admissions Test (BMAT) exam is a pen and paper test that is divided into 3 sections
Aptitude and Skills 35 Questions & 1 Hour
Scientific Knowledge and Applications - 27 Questions - 30 minutes
Writing Task 3 (1 out of 3) - 30 minutes
