    He is world's best Mrdanga player ofcourse coz he use to play for aindra prabhu....
    He is my inspiration to learn Mrdanga.. Pls Pls post as many videos as u can coz it'll help many devotees like me..
    Or make a group on facebook so It'll be easy for us to know if u post any new videos...

    Gopala prabhu definitely put in a lot of time, he didn't learn traditionally, but by hearing in kirtan.

    Slow beat is "Dha Ge Ti Kha Na Ge Dhi Na", and fast beat is "Ge Dha Na Ge Na Kha", played very fast. I figured out the latter by myself, since I haven't found an official mantra for it anywhere. Good luck to you all! ;)

    of course its long hours of practice etc. but you can tell he has a natural feel for the instrument? no? do you play yourself?

    Seems simple enough but it doesn't help much for us beginners if there's no mantra. If anyone knows it, please post :)
