I was definitely around for the Zoo crew era.. they were definitely a factor.. partied with them at skate 22 skating rink in union NJ, one member ( I won't say his name ) knocked a cop out in the middle of the skating rink and bounced. Video music box used to film those dudes in the 90's
I been waiting for this. Can't believe back in the mid 90's I lived less than 150 miles from Newark and had no idea about this crew. I had my own Zoo Crew set in DE. We didn't make as much $ but we was doing it from 95- 2002 until I dismantled my squad. Some of us even have it tatted on our bodies. salute 2 my crazy ass New Jeruz niggaz.

The Zoo Crew was some good dudes. To this day, I still talk to a few members. Everyone didn't sell drugs. They organized events and did other legal stuff. That whole area of Chadwick was Zoo Crew territory. It was a crew of dudes that got moved from the projects to Chadwick.
