This video by Assiduous Productions captures and highlights some of the features and activities seen at the York city centre place of setting for the Jorvik Viking Festival 2023.
The Jorvik Viking Festival is an annual event taking place during February each year, on occasion with other associated events. The city centre set up includes displays of creative crafts and artefacts, and with simulations and demonstrations of some of the styles of equipment, techniques and labour methods used by the Vikings in their processing and production of essentials, ranging from weaponry, to clothing and jewellery, to cutlery.
Accompanying the visuals of the video with suitably fitting storytelling in vocals and instrumentals as soundtrack, is music from ElvenDale.
