  • It's easy to think that smoking is just another "bad habit" and that you'll quit when you want to. For legendary broadcaster Larry King, his dependence on nicotine started when he was 17-years old and continued well into his 50s. Pfizer's Chief Medical Officer Freda Lewis-Hall, M.D., sits down with Larry to discuss his very public history of smoking and when he finally decided that enough was enough.
"If there was one change I would make in my life, it would be [that the] 17 year old boy who started smoking, didn't start," he says.
Watch the video above to hear the turning point for Larry and how he finally broke the habit. To learn more about the health risks of smoking visit www.gethealthystayhealthy.com.

Then quit smoking. I don't know why anyone would want to smoke in the first place. It is like seeing a building going up in flames and standing there breathing it all in. Why would someone intentionally breath in smoke that more than likely will kill you one day. Why would you want to put others through that?! Do you have children? Why make them breath it in?! Disgusting to say the least!

Yes it is so nice. Luckily I live in a state where we can still smoke in bars and some restaurants.

@@joannsmith150 Well aren't you the judgemental one. I don't think people who don't smoke should be subjected to cigarette smoke. That being said the only thing disgusting is your judgemental self-righteous attitude. Have a nice day c*$t.

Georg von Rauch For some reason our government likes to tell us how to live. However we are far from the only country, and at least our cigarette packs don’t have stupid warning labels or pictures all over them.
