I was a complete neutral watching this game, don't care about Spurs or Man City - but almost 20 years on this is still the best game I have ever seen. Can't believe City won it in normal time, total madness
I read Kevin Keegan's book and he said he left Manchester City in a much better state than he found them in and same when he was at Newcastle in the 90's. He wasn't the best tactically but he was a great man-manager and knew how to get the best out of players and what was needed to make a club progress.
Definitely the best comeback in football ever - a lot better that the Reds in Istanbul who were the better team for 10 minutes and spawned a European Cup.
Spurs fan here. First time I've felt able to rewatch this absolute shower since it happened. One of the worst moments of my football life, and as Spurs fans we've had a few. Appalling.
One of our best moments mate, but we have had waaaaaaay more shit moments than spuds. what a daft match, on us could do that. you lot got lucky the other week btw..
Thats pretty fair of you to say. and yeah, it was insane and as old school, long suffering blue, who was at maine road when we played liverpool 95 and started on the slope down, id seen it all.. and that 92;30 seconds of sergio, was in a micro second from the worst moment to the best ever.. typical city..
FFT brought me here... And yet a couple days ago they ranked Ledley King higher than Vincent Kompany AND Jamie Carragher in an all time list of greatest centre backs of the Premier League era (!)
The greatest comeback was in 2000/2001 FA CUP Fith Round when Tranmere were in Division One and 3-0 down in the 1st half against a premiership team Southampton but then in the 2nd half it was absolutely amazing of what Tranmere did and scored 4 goals to win the match
Joey Barton getting sent off helped city and him getting sent off years later helped city win the premier league..
always get sent iof#
I don't support either team, but watching this live I jumped up off the couch. I've never forgotten this game.

One of the greatest games I've even seen.
I remember watching this game and still one of the best games I’ve seen .
I remember Ipswich having Mackem on loan ,he did a good job for us.
FA Cup too ... the best cup to do it on .... Cup games can be so fantastic ....
Well done City,as an Arsenal fan i was delighted watching this live
Do you think this is better than the Arsenal comeback against Reading? 😜
Definitely the best comeback in football ever - a lot better that the Reds in Istanbul who were the better team for 10 minutes and spawned a European Cup.
? This comeback is way better, because City had ten men AND were playing away from home. Whilst Newcastle had 11 and were at home..
facts
Not to mention the fact that we'd won 1 in 18 and WHL was a ground we usually got nothing at
sick comeback

Yeah but at least you've had probably the best premier league moment ever to more or less redeem yourselves...
Sterling was gonna miss it anyway...

Then at the weekend after you threw away a 2 goal lead to draw 4-4 with then relegation fighters leicester 😂
@@stevenweeks9903 Andy Gray's commentary on Marcus Bent goal that made it 4-3 was absolutely priceless
Man city is great club
@Bradley Bicknell what's this then
Bradley Bicknell your watching a video from 2003/04
man city 2 4 spurs , fa cup 1993, 11 years later man city get revenge in the same competition with the same goals tally for them
The biggest comeback is Germany 4-4 Sweden.Germany 4-0 up,Sweden make it 4-4 in a space of 30 minutes.
Completely amazing. MCFC
FFT brought me here... And yet a couple days ago they ranked Ledley King higher than Vincent Kompany AND Jamie Carragher in an all time list of greatest centre backs of the Premier League era (!)
How the tables have turned...
Yes, how they have turned horribly. So horribly.
Good ol memory's
Listened to this on 5live, but turned it off in disgust at half time, still gutted years later.
City was better than newcastles the comeback team had ten this time
Just goes to show that spurs will always be spurs
What happened in the UCL 15 years later when we played this lot?
out of interest does anyone know the greatest number of goals down a team has been down by to go on and win? ....long story
Classic tottenham

10 men though...
funny this r kid got on the plane in new york 2-0 down got off 3-4 result
Wow, that goal from Ledley King!
Yes but the look on kings face at the end of the match🤣
Only Tottenham could be 3-0 up at half time, at home - against 10 men - in a cup game, and STILL find a way to lose in normal time.
Barton was there as well :O
Reminds me of Palmeiras 3-4 Vasco
This is the most Spursy thing to ever happen
City…
Typical Tottenham
güntekin onaydan gelenler
this is so biased and this isnt the best comeback of all time lmao
the best is now....reading 5-7 arsenal lol
But that was against reading
That's a decent comeback, but Newcastle - Arsenal 4-4 tops it easily!
Pentyrion Nah, City scored 4, same as Newcastle, but only had 10 men for the 2nd half. Plus Newcastle had dodgy penalty in their comeback
Spurs just got their retaliation in UEFA Champions league 😂🤣
This isn't the best comeback. The best comeback is when Newcastle where 4 goals down at first half against arsenal than they made it 4-4
no , they have twice penalties and still played on 11 players
No chance.
The greatest comeback was manchester united winning 2-1 in the UCL Final in 1998. The two goals were in INJURY TIME!
ahem 2 goals in injury time rings a bell....... cough cough 3-2 against qpr
@@Tezureck RAG TWATS GOT NO ANSWER TO THAT.
3rd mc's goal was clear offside
There used to be alot of calls like this, thts why VAR was made...
istanbuls better, it was a champions league final.
