Good video, Dale! I own more Victorinox and Wenger knives than I’d care to admit. I seem to have settled on a Victorinox Classic SD on my keyring and a Spartan on a suspension clip in my pocket. I like two layer knives the most. I also own the Compact, but I’m not a big fan of the combo tool. I prefer the dedicated can and bottle openers. As a fountain pen aficionado, I rarely have a need for a ballpoint pen. 😂 With the Classic SD and Spartan combination, I’m covered for most needs that may arise. Depending on my activities for the day, I may swap the Spartan out for a Climber, Huntsman, Bantam, Cadet, Farmer, etc. I like having a Classic SD on my keyring along with a small Fenix E01 flashlight. If I forget to drop a knife in my pocket, there’s a lot of capability on my keyring.
Thanks! I really enjoy thinking about & using tools like these. I wish that there were other small pocketable items with so much utility. I've looked up jewelry that might have multiple functions, but so far no luck incorporating anything else. I'm open to suggestions in that arena. A small backpack with essentials such as water, snacks, etc. would be the next step, I suppose. And I agree - the combo tool is a not a great can opener, so for camping trips I'll definitely choose the pioneer for the dedicated tools. I'm good with my phone for a flashlight, although I have a spotlight for camping, etc. Really aside from a small container for earplugs and allergy / caffeine / ibuprofen pills, I can only think of first aid as another essential. I'm usually overdressed for the cold.
So happy to see you making videos again! Keep them coming.
Thank you!!

Be great if the first or second half of these reviews were with gum chewing :)
Chewing sounds are gross lol
@@VintageGearGuy I’ll plan to make another gum video someday
