I have the same pair and they are so comfy, I do have wider feet which surprisingly isn't an issue with these, especially since I'm used to Converse being narrow. There is one thing I however find slightly annoying with them is that the heel space causes slight heel slip that happens for me in my left shoe and on the right shoe my toes rub, so I wear heel silicone grips and plasters on my toes 😌 which are easy fixes and are very common. I love these shoes they are so unique and really really jet black 🖤 I just can't wait to break them in
Good points! Yeah on mine, there can be a little heel rub on the back when I’m wearing thin socks. I usually wear thick socks with them to even it out.
i’ve been collecting different shoes from the run star motion series and i loved the design so much that i bought a pair a little over a year ago just for my job at starbucks. well, today i had to say goodbye to them because the soles were torn. i’ve been looking for another pair to buy and have already been debating whether to get these because of the suede material (at starbucks it’s out of dress code to wear shoes that aren’t rubber or suede), even before my shoes broke. i’m taking this as a sign to get them, i’m so happy that converse is making run star motion pairs that are more work friendly!
Interesting! Didn’t know about the Starbucks dress code. The suede ones seem pretty rugged overall - they’re still in rly good shape after a couple months! They’re so comfy to stand in for long periods of time too
I've been trying desperately to find these black in a us 8 men's and pretty much impossible so I got these in a beige and luv them. The most comfortable shoes you will ever find.. I do suggest going down a size though.. I'm a 9 usually but the 9 were too big and the 8 was perfect.. I just really wish I could find these black in an 8.. I still haven't given up on my search lol
@b3naqua yeah I have along with ebay, Cettrie, Converse store, The Iconic, FWRD, and the list goes on .. they do have other sizes just not a men's US 8.. the only site I found in the size I need is a European site and a Thai site and both don't ship out to Australia, the closest one I found that does is in a 7.5 which might be too tight. I only found one American sites bit and doesn't specify if it's a woman's or men's size and specificly say doesn't offer exchange or refunds on sales.. I'll keep searching but I won't hold me breath 😪

imo they fit a bit narrow in the toe box, which is why I ended up sizing up a 1/2 size. So if your normal size is 5.5, maybe try 6? You could also get both sizes and return the ones that don't fit as well, that's what I did

Nah, they actually feel pretty lightweight, considering how thick and chunky they are imo. Balenciaga shoes generally feel heavier cuz they use higher quality materials, leather, etc

Just bought these on StockX for $125 shipped. I kinda wish i bought the Utility version instead because i didn't realize these were suede.

Motion is def higher than Hike, maybe by like an extra inch or so
