As an begginer artist I can say that this is actually helpful. Also random fact: Using more pointy and straight lines can be used to make a strong or a villain type character while using round and more dynamic lines can make a character that is friendly type... Well that also depends on what style you use. So do I know atleast 1% of design stuff? :D
Human brain always prefers round and human-alike shapes to sharp and generally predator-related shapes. That's why we messed up with cats' and dogs' looks and why people think a british shorthair is cute and a husky is scary etc
Relating to the Symmetry thing you mentioned, As a beginner.. From what I have learned, I always thought that the Orthographic view is viable to have if your character is going to be 3D modeled?
I really like your style and teaching. I am adavced artist but building a portfolio of character design. I dont get some things in my designs and your exsplantions really help and cool books :)
Wow this is a great tutorial sir. May I ask sir, how can I learn the proportion of my character when my character is square. It's quite difficult for me
2:27 that's Pretty smart although the problem is that I always make the hands and legs of my character wobbly, I don't know how to make it straight, I don't know where to put the bone in so it usually looks wobbly
You explain and show things more clearly than almost any one I've seen. Thank you for making these.
Thanks for sharing your tips :)

Hello, why don't you edit real books ? e-books are something, but the paper is priceless !
because it's really complicated. Wish it was better to do.
