This information needs to be top priority for all departments! I have over 30 years of firefighting experience in the fire service and we were required to perform 3 comprehensive commercial structure preplans monthly to log into our pre-fire planning. We don't see emphasis any longer emphasis are being placed on pre-fire planning. I was the Duty Officer for the City of Houston OEM when the 4 firefighters diied in the Southwest Hote Fire in Houston --- that was a bad day. This building blew up quickly and failed quickly!!!

The glue is the contributing factor and it also become a barrier for water prenatration to absorb heat with fire streams.

Great show tonight guys. Captain Murphy mentioned him earlier, but you need to get Vincent Dunn on one of these days either for one of these drilling segments or to discuss his career.

Firefighters old and young. Never end the job or work. As we see here .we so few. Are a band of brothers. Who ultimately love this work weather pro or vol. It's in our blood no matter where you go the talk is always the best way to learn , survive ,and break balls . It's not a job for everyone .

Wish I could have been in the chat last night as I would have brought this up at the lightweight truss section. First don't trust the truss. Also even when steel trusses are exposed to the heat ---- as in the World Trade Center ---- it can collapse as the steel's strength will eventually weaken if it is not properly protected.
