When a kitten (or any cat) is practically next to starving it will literally fiercely attack the food put in front of it to try to quell the horrible gut pains it is suffering from its starvation...how do you think we humans would likely react were we put in the same position of not being fed on a regular basis and were really next to starving and someone put some delicious food under our nose?? Just saying..😢
i get what you're saying but my cats are well fed but still like to steal bread and chicken. it's not just hunting instincts but because chicken and other things cats can eat has the same nutrients as regular cat food. highly doubt anyone would starve a cat..
@@Kiro_Pierre Unfortunately, I have been witness to a couple of cats in my own building who were purposely starved to the point of being so skinny they looked like, and felt like, just a skeleton with fur..of course we phoned the humane society to come to retrieve them, which was done in time for the one cat..however, the older cat had to be euthanized due to it had gotten very sickly from its lengthy starvation..
That situation still upsets me to this day when I think of it, or if I happen to see a video of a cat or kitten so hungry its attacking the food its presented, cause it's so hard to accept the fact that people can be so cruel to do such a thing to an innocent creature as to let any creature go that hungry to the point that they are starving..and it just angers me to no end when I see a video of this behavior that the person taking the picture is frigging laughing and actually thinks it's funny..😠😠..is all I'm saying..have a good day..

@@Kiro_Pierre I'm sorry if you feel that this was a "sob" story..I was only responding to your statement that you"highly doubt"(?)anyone would starve a cat..you obviously weren't aware of the fact that it does happen in more cases than anyone is aware of, especially to those indoor cats stuck in an apartment and not able to get outside to hunt for food..
I have had cats all my life and currently have one that is always fed and is on a daily time feeding schedule, and if I'm late, she certainly let's me hear about it..3 times a day..
So I do apologize for providing that TRUE "sob story" ..have a great day..
It's bizarre to me seeing cats go crazy for food or begging or even stealing it. I'm apparently the only person who just leaves a bowl of food out at all times. Never had anything like this happen and never had an obese cat either.
