    Thank you, Dale, for this explanation and for your improvements to the sounds of the FR-4x.

    OMG....I never really realized the difference ....all I know is that I realize how lucky I am to have purchased both of mine from Dale and Donna of Crown Music!! The sound difference is amazing!!!

    The video I sent you is the guy I buy my accordions through!! He re-programs all the Roland accordions that he advertises.

    After listening to an instrument that has NOT been “Mathisized” I can truly appreciate the dramatic difference in sound quality of those he offers!! It makes me truly appreciate Dale Mathis even more!!

      Wow!! I’m sooo happy I finally realized why the sounds were suddenly hurting my ears!!! They were STOCK SOUNDS that you were demonstrating and I didn’t realize it right away until you mentioned it!! That was similar to waking up from a bad dream!!

    Hello Dale. Bought an 8x from Crown Music a few years ago. At that time I did not realize how much difference your programs added to the tone depth and variety of the instrument. Guess it was a huge bit of luck for me at that time. So glad that I bought one from Crown that you had programed. Never get tired of discovering new sounds and ways to combine them. Thanks so much for your dedication.

    Thanks Dale, I am having a great time with my fr4x that I bought from you two years ago. When I play this accordion with someone who has a fr4x with out your programs all say WOW that sounds wonderful I wish that I did some more research before I bought this one. Thank you Dale for doing what you do.Don from NY

      Don Mowers...I couldn’t resist adding my “two cents” I totally agree!! I feel blessed to have discovered Dale, his channel AND Donna Thomas who has recently been enjoying retirement after many years of dedication to Roland and a lifetime to music in general!!

    That was an illuminating explanation of your programming. I wish you offered some mods for the FR-1x. That is the device I chose to learn on. Yes, it is limiting, but it will give me foundation on which to build. My niece and her 2 boys will inherit this instrument when I move on to another.

      Yes, it would be nice if Roland offered a usable FR-1x editor. But, alas, it does not exist to the general public and programmers like me.

    Hi Dale, do you ship to the U.K.?

    • @dalematthies
      @dalematthies  5 лет назад

      Sorry, Crown Music is franchised by Roland US, thus the store may not ship a new instrument to the UK. If we should get a used Roland, then it could be shipped.

      Hi again, thankyou for letting me know, I was interested in buying a Fr4x from you, if you happened to acquire a used Fr4x I would be interested, but would I get it with the Dale Mathis sounds?@@dalematthies

      @@martinsayers128 Your other option is to fly here and buy a new one. Another person from the UK is making arrangements to do just that. There is a direct flight from London to Phoenix for $980.00. - $1100.00 round trip on American Airlines or British Airlines.

      Thankyou for the information on the flights. As much as I would like to come over, unfortunately it is not convenient for me to fly out to you. I have a Fr3x at the moment, but wanted to upgrade to a 4x with all your lovely sounds. @@dalematthies
