fun fact. if you go to an area thats primarily a certain race or ethnicity and go into walgreens or target the foundation shades they offer will usually start at the shade that goes for that certain skin tone for the race. for example, my boyfriend lives in a area that predominately latinas, so the shade they start at for foundations at the target by him is like the medium skin tone colors. THE MORE YOU KNOW (insert flying star)
but im mexican, and my skin tone is PALE AF, so like that wouldnt work for me if i lived in that area.

It's marketing. Why keep an item in stock if it doesn't make a profit. Another thing to keep in mind with drug stores is that they may be out of stock of any item because they are only sent 2-4 of each at a time. On top of that, opened merchandise is usually tossed and it takes forever to restock. In my experience, more makeup was sent back to the vendor than was restocked to the floor.
Brenda Martinez You're stating that as if it's the usual everywhere but I disagree. On the whole, they usually stock light/medium shades, unless it's a city where 90% are darkskinned. And even then they don't offer deep shades because the cosmetic companies don't make those shades. I've lived in three areas that are predominantly latinos and one area that is white in California (from south coast to central coast) and drugstores in all four areas started with light shades and went up to tan. They didn't really have shades for latinos who are on the darker side.
You said the area your boyfriend lives in is predominantly Latino so for them to start with medium shades, it must be almost all Latinos. So it still doesn't address the problem that in areas that are mixed, minorities (especially black) are ignored. I just wanted to address this because people will read your comment and believe that drugstores are catering to minorities and that it's not a racist issue (as you can see by some of the comments above me).

But I also really miss Meghan. (Hopefully, her not being able to be on just means that her acting career is flourishing and that we’ll be seeing more of her elsewhere then!) No it's not. It's a shimmer stick, meaning it's highlighter. It looks kinda like a blush because the color best goes with super dark skinned people
if you look on sephora's website it says it can be used to blush, but that makes sense also

primer does clog your pores but it's supposed to come out easy when you wash your face, clogging your pores makes your skin one smooth surface and so your foundation doesn't set into your pores and look bumpy
