I've been waiting for this moment! I'm Indonesian and i've been eating Durian since forever, its one of the most addicted fruit in here. But just like Vegamite from Australia, many people who are uncommon with Durian will not like it at all. Even the smell makes you wanna vomit. And just FYI, the world best well known food taster (forgot his name) said that "i could eat cockroaches, worms or anything but never, NEVER tell me to eat durian. Durian is the only food that i can't eat in the entire world" and also you can get high from eating a lot of them. And also, i know you can't handle Durian but please try another level of our smelly veggies/fruits, it's called Pete and Jengkol. For your convenience, please eat them raw ;)
When I stopped drinking soda, I discovered that fruits and vegetables started to taste sweet. I think all that processed sugar might have desensitized me to natural sweetness.
