I think the max on this size turbo on this engine is about 10psi. It's less about the psi and more about the hp and tq you're making. Stock transmission wont hold more than 350 for very long

Where did you buy the piping kit? Cant find one for my 93 mx6 klde Are ylu able to link the one you used and what intercooler etc? Size or type of turbo?
About 10 years ago you could find them for sale on eBay, I bought mine off of a guy on the Facebook group. They were used. The eBay kits have pretty poor fitment so keep everything loose and you’ll have to pry things into place to get it to fit. It will relax after a few heat cycles tho

I messaged you a long time ago never finished a build on mine but now I got eight of the one and starting from scratch but how long and how reliable would you say your MX6 was being turboed
I have a video series on my channel giving instructions on how to turbo a MX6. If you're not good with tools it's probably too big of a project for you. I paid just under $1k I think. If you pay a shop you'll probably spend like $5000 or more.
@@pigeon853 when turboing a car, u can cheap out on lot of things, first of all u can buy only a fuel pressure regulator and leave all the other fuel shit behind, also u dont rly need a bov, but it will put stress on ur turbo more like 25%
Erick Sanchez if you go to an exhaust shop they should be able to put your wideband in the right spot for you, I used an inanimate MTX L wideband, but any real wideband will work. If you can, I'd get one with the LSU 4.9 sensor instead of the 4.2, it's a little better
I know this is off topic i heard its a pain in the ass to get the 3.0 v6 mazda mazda6s tuned just right. I just picked one up and was planning on boosting it but dont know if its worth it. ? 04 mazda 6s
@@VisualReality801 duratec 3.0s arent the best and easiest for boosting in my knowledge… probably best to buy a jdm klze and boost that or even keep it n/a with its 200hp

How much power you make after all this? I know the stock v6 motor makes like 170hp or so
I made 155WHP with all my n/a mods. On 4 Psi I made 240whp/240WTQ
Unmodified USA v6 makes about 130 at the wheels

Surge S I think 98-2001 are the years for the injectors.
