As a retired throttle jockey myself, slag for engineer, I just wanted to say how I enjoy your videos. I use to take the Mohawk Division trains to the North Jersey Consolidated terminal, ie: North Bergen, South Kearney and Oak Island and use to work North too via The River Line to CP-SK, which I think is now CP132. Thanks for the comment.. Although the video is "railfan quality" I feel that the topic is worth the effort.. All of my material is fairly old as I have not been trackside to take video in nearly 20 years... I have digitized all of my old VHS tapes and have been systematically producing edited and captioned exerpts. Thanks again.. Jay
I love the sound of the FM opposed piston diesel engine. Years ago the New Haven RR had some FM H16-44 diesels. They had the trainmaster styling and were equipped with Hancock chime whistles .To me the sound of the FM engine is like an EMD on steroids.
