My daughter (6 yrs) loves your videos, especially the catfish ones. I'm traditionally a walleye from shore angler, so have been getting the equipment for some channel cats as that's all there is in the area. We've been out twice, one small cat, one huge carp, bunch of huge rock bass, and a nice walleye so far. We'll get there. Thanks for the vids bud.
Walleyes and channels have a lot in common at times. They both love gravel bottoms, especially shallow gravel in the fall for channels. Hope you get on em!

I was at that same dam back in the end of July. I managed to pick up a few Flatties outta there. Fun place! I even managed to get one while wearing my RC hoodie. All 3 were 30-40lb class. Keep up the great videos!

Here in Missouri I wish we had the smallmouth and walters. But we do have the big cats
Probably the biggest cats. I know the Ozark area has some of the cooler water fish.
I know a lock n dam and it has some really good walleye in the slack spots. Missouri department of conservation has been doing lots for good walleye fishing here recently. What side of Missouri are you from?

I get shovelnose on the Missouri occasionally and even caught a pallid once. This river has some big ol lake sturgeon in it though. It's a pretty cool spot. I'll let Skip know you said hi.

My grandfather Hill always told me the there were catfish the size of Volkswagens below the dam ,at Wheeler Dam in North West Alabama , below the dam by the island. I haven't been fishing there in years. But Papa really believed that ❤❤

Had a great weekend in pa last weekend usually we get a mixed bag of channels and flats. That weekend we caught 12 flats no channels and my daughter caught her new pb 19lbs she's 12 so it was more than enough for her. Maybe I did have the drag bit spicy. 😂 great video.

I can You those Stories of Dam Monsters are Sometimes True , Back A.Long Time ago myself and A Friend witnessed First Hand Encounter with A Said Monster Catfish , We Launched 2 Jet ski in A River that flows To A Dam , we Traveled The Flow To The Dam And With 100 yards Of Debris and Logs Up against the Damn We Were Able To Sit Faceing This Giant Log & Debri pile we Witnessed a 6 to 7 ft Long Catfish rise To The Surface outside of This Debris Cluster And Disappear with a Burst of the Large tail Back under The Debri Pile And It Created a splash & a Wake , Biggest fish I've ever Seen other than Deep Sea Fishing , Seeing The Size of Was Kinda Scary
