When houses get new siding, windows, stainless appliances in granite kitchens, two tile baths, hardwood polished floors, 2 car garage, deep lot, fireplace, updated plumbing, 200 amp updated wiring and 4 bedrooms. Whoa. New roof not many years ago too, 2 flu chimney, big 22'x20' deck. My first house was $34,500 but no way you could buy one like it for that kinda money. Same situation @jeandouglas9912 ! 😃
Everyone has a different color scheme and easy fix. Cool grays and olive greens, frosted colors seem to be big... not that long ago it was all egg shell white safe but boring that happened everywhere. Have it your way and there is a Sherwin Williams paint store, lots of Benjamin Moore, Walmart, other paint flavors to pick from at Lowers up the road a piece.
Understand and thank goodness we all like different everything. Paint is an easy adjustment and pretty much most places sold get new fresh coat of paint.

@@kookietherapy9398 No no, no greener grass (unless they use weed and feed). Downsized to apartment and appeal of this place was a Mom, Dad, senior loved one can live under the same roof! Multi generation can happen!
This house is simple stunning. If i were ready to move. But alas i took the advice of the Interwebs and bought a fixer in the retirement town of Las Cruces. Once this is done I'm coming back north.
@@AndrewMooersmainerealestate yeah, exactly - I'm 62 & years ago it was the eggshell - now it's the grey - I'd prefer the eggshell to start with - I like the New England grey w white trim on the outside - but, lately it seems landlords are all going with that color scheme on everything inside too - grey and/or black appliances too - I get it - clean lines/look - but, it's so cold looking - like an institution not a home ... so nice of you to take time to respond - I'm sure you get lots of replies because the vids are just great - I'm looking for a miracle home in the Bangor/Brewer area - or maybe in a town a bit north from there - as I know prices have gone up - but, not too far north or too isolated - I left the crime & crowds of Southern California 20 years ago - was in Aroostook for about 5 years & that was too cold for too long each year & difficult to drive to/from work - 15 years in Bangor area & I love it - retired now - no driving worries - I may not even bother with a car going forward - at least 2 bedrooms & 1 to 1.5 baths - in case my sister visits from Cali - one floor would be great - I'm kinda freaked out by the lack of fire escapes in 2 story houses - but, if I was the owner - I suppose I could build one onto the house - don't want a mobile - I saw the space rent movie in my mobile in Cali & they're also fire traps - I'd be willing to pay a reasonable HOA fee on a small condo - in order to get the yard & plowing dealt with - wow - prices on renting or owning in Bangor/Brewer have basically doubled since the fiasco - well, you know that - of course, anything I see will be gone before I could arrange anything - I'm stuck in The South right now & it's NOT for me - the people are charming - but, I dislike everything else heat/humid, alligators, snakes, bugs & yes, crime/crowds - I suppose the next steps would be to get in touch with financers & see what I can realistically accomplish with my budget - I know there's something do-able for me - I'll be supplementing my SS cks with an at home online type income - so, I could literally live anywhere in Maine - I saw Beachwood condos - they look great - I wonder what's wrong with them - the price seems too good to be true ... sorry to ramble & get too informational right on utube - but, I couldn't find a place on your website for such notes & phone calls don't work for me at this stage of my search - I'd like to work with you on my home search - you seem great to work with - I absolutely love that house across the street from the border patrol place in Houlton (?) I forget now - what a dream - but, in reality - I'd just be happy with a little house - but, NOT a tiny house - talk about fire traps - heck, I'll have to pay rent anyway & rents are so high - I might as well try to buy ! Mind boggling how a few years ago literally this sold if for 79k. Interesting times no doubt.

Sure. Then they spent $200k on updates.
@@johnbob4545 Easy to do if everything is hired out and if not careful shopping the price on materials.
Stunning floors
Omg the kitchen floors 😍😍🥰🤩🤩
Needs neutral paint, but wow!
Buy it, paint it any color... black, white, shades of gray and have it your way.
Very nice home great video as usual andy😊😊😊
Wow. Beautiful house at a great price. If only I could get my wife to move out of Mass.
Keep working on it @bryanmarine9699 😁
Beautiful house the only thing I would chance is the wall colors.

Very nice! The only thing I would change is repaint downstairs. The rainbow colors are nice but not my choice.
white beige or light pastel others agree

Are there covenants or restrictions? With that large of a yard you could garden and support chickens.

VERY NICE!
You forgot to show us the garage Andrew☹️
Wall to wall, floor to ceiling packed with moving boxes. Today those boxes are on a journey and should be empty in the next two weeks.
Curious, where are they moving? Is the grass greener?

Very beautiful home. Thanks Andy.
Thank you @larryharry7221 !
paint salesman was happy 😝
Can't be afraid of paint colors... the off white egg shell or light gray everywhere through a home and monochrome is what some home buyers want. 😄
