You’re right mine doesn’t look like commophora at all haha the tree I got the cutting from was exfoliating heavily and the cutting was extremely fragrant! I think it might be micropylla I went and looked it up in the miniatree books after you mentioned it and seeing yours. The bark is a reddish brown and I want to give it another week before I pinch her leaves lol thank you so much for the info Todd!!
Hi there! By any chance do you have a commiphora molmol tree? I'm trying to distinguish their fruits or their flower- since I can only find pictures on commiphora myrrha
@@toddstropicals Oh my goodness! Thank you so much for clarifying! Your video very much helped me with my personal research into cultivating such a gorgeous tree!!!!
It certainly is, although they don't like to hear that. Poor misguided lot aren't they🤔😁👍 I studied mostly quite a bit about the Egyptians and their love of frankincense & myrrh, and made a lot of their kyphy or kapet incense when I had my business open called Temple of Ra handmade incense.
Yes, I do have one. Its at my friend's house. It's about the size of shimperi, bit bigger maybe. He has quite a few rare things also but he's paranoid about video there due to theft.
@@toddstropicals It would be great if you could film it for identification purposes. There aren't many pics online that demonstrate leaf structure, etc. Since there are over 190 varieties of myrrh, a good photo of the leaf structure would be great!
Hello😄very good👍
I love plants💖
Have a happy day
Thanks Todd, great info and always great to see your trees.
Gonna start seeing more trees soon!
Sounds good !
very good explanation...

Thats a beautiful tree and it can be a good for decoration. Plant one more tree for me my friend and let see how it grows....
I'll try, I already have a lot of trees!
@@toddstropicals thats really good my friend.... you can make them also as your business soon
You know so much about them and I never watched on RUclips anything about these type of trees except for your channel. Awesome explanation.
Oh wow thanks! Frankincense & myrrh is a passion, they're very cool succulent trees. I am still a novice at growing then.

Video suggestion : where did your love for these trees (Frankincense & Myrrh ) come from (your not the catholic type 😁
I did that video already... And no, I'm more the pagan type 😁
@@toddstropicals Well most (if not all) of Catholicism is derived from Paganism 🤓
