From Los Angeles. Is Saturns moon Hyperion a possible captured comet? i see images and it looks like a snowball. could comets form like snowballs rolling down the hill start with a small core and gather frozen particles as they move thru the outer solar system picking up one particle of frozen gas at a time. even though they are spread out by perhaps thousands of miles between particles. or millions of miles.

Since it’s an inner moon of Saturn, I don’t think so... it probably evolved with Saturn. But: if if where to break free, it is mostly water and very defuse . So very comet-like.
