They sound extremely similar. The difference is too small to say one sounds better than the other, you just need to decide if you want to split the hair on the warmth side (Lewitt) or clarity side (AT). Nobody will say you sound worse for using one over the other.

Ur review is strange bcz it's very well known that the 240 Pure peeks at it's high end and the AT2035 is neutral throughout the freq. chart. Your verdict is interchanged.. am I missing something here or have u gotten confused?

They are the same, the 3035 is not being produced anymore, because Audio Technica canceled their 30xx Series. The only difference is, that the 2035 is made in China (or Taiwan) and the 3035 was made in Japan

I have 2 Lewitt LCT 440 Pure, the "higher" model and they are really good microphones.
Love the sound of Lewitt products just always have personal taste for sure
