What os are you running the game on? Cuz on Win8.1x64 I have no problems and the Ai is really smart. You must have torrented a very old buggy version or something...like that monaco race you had? I've never seen anything like that and I have been playing this game for years now.

Win7 x64, but I have no idea of the version but it is vanilla. Running with 100% aggression may have something to do with it? Don't know really
