I've been making that one forever, and you're right, it's so good! I would TOTALLY eat it over rice, but would have to fix potatoes or pasta for my better half, so some days, it's just easier to settle on one side and go with it - you know what I mean?! We are so glad you are here, and hope that you will enjoy the content on our channel. 💖💜 You'd be REALLY surprised at how many negative and truly unkind comments we receive on our RUclips channel (or at least, I have been for the several years we've been doing this). Some people didn't have the same mama and grandmama that I did, who taught me that "if you don't have anything nice to say, then just don't say anything at all", LOL! Sadly, social media tends to bring out the worst in some people, and they swing by and say something really mean or even nasty and then come back (for which, I am very grateful for that!). I am a chicken fan too (and we shared another video last week with 4 stovetop chicken dishes, because we really do love chicken around here!), and those were my favorite too. Well, maybe the blueberry pancakes and swiss oats were, LOL!!! As for church outside, in August, in MS, it was warm!! You probably would have melted, and I was warm, but we dressed accordingly, took tents and chairs, and lots of people had fans and cold water bottles, so it wasn't too bad. We have "early" church anyway, so we were done well before lunch time. It was so nice to be outside and see everyone in shorts and tshirts, just hanging out, and the kids playing on the grass. Really fun experience! Take care and have a wonderful and truly blessed day ---Stacy 😍💚

It's been a while since I made the creamy Italian chicken, I know it's good. Good looking asparagus, Silly me, but I haven't thought to put spicy chicken in the AF for me but just chicken strips for Don, you're a genius! The breakfast looks yummy. @The Pinterest Failure - Hey girl! Thank you so much for stopping by and watching again this week. I hope your hand is doing better every day and you are getting more dextrous with those fingers. Breakfast for dinner has always been a big deal for me, and for both of us really. We both love breakfast food and we can (and often do), eat it at morning, noon and night! I love oatmeal and make it several ways, but Tim is not a fan. This is one he will eat (as opposed to my steel cut oats, which he won't touch with a 10 foot pole), and I like how easy it is. I really like having some things done earlier in the day on some days. @@LetsCookYall , Thank you so much, unfortunately my hand is still damaged and I probably won’t have much dexterity for another few weeks. Yes, my seven year old might riot if he doesn’t get breakfast for dinner at some point during the week. My toddler eats oatmeal, so I’m hoping he will like it. I understand, I tend (well, did) meal prep a lot so dinner itself comes together faster.

      @@thepinterestfailure4034 - aww, I'm so sorry it's taking a while for it to heal, and I do hope that it starts to get better soon. It sounds really painful and very limiting. I know it can be so hard to do even basic things like zip your pants, brush your hair, load a dishwasher, etc when your hand is messed up. What a (literal) pain :( Hooray for a toddler who eats oatmeal! Be sure to add whatever he likes flavorwise or change up the dried food, to fit his taste. I really like the orange (original recipe calls for zest, but I rarely have fresh oranges in the house and always have OJ), hint to it, and the ease. Hang in there, and take care of that hand! 💖 💖

    Yum. Everything looked delicious . I am definitely making that Italian Chicken. That looked right up my ally. Your breakfast for dinner all looked wonderful. I seldom make pancakes and I dnk why because we like pancakes. I just never think about it. I like to buy the Sara Lee Artisan Brioche bread and make french toast occasionally. I usually stew some mixed berries and make a topping to go over it. We had Hayley's shower yesterday and I have chicken salad leftover so we are having chicken salad wraps for dinner today. I add mayo, celery, dried cranberries and pecans to my cooked chicken breasts. I have some bibb lettuce so I may add some of that too. We are having pork chops, skillet corn and cabbage and new potatoes this week too. Church looked nice. I am a seafood lover so your catfish dinner looked yummy. We had pizza last Tuesday when I had my treatment. We stopped and got a huge XL pizza that is $38. We then eat off it for 3 meals. We ate it Tuesday and Wednesday, then Mark finished it last night. Mark's sister, nephew, his wife, and his niece all have Covid. His other sisters daughter and grandson were exposed last Sunday by her ex husband so that family is all isolating. They have been really sick. None of Mark's family were vaccinated because they did not believe precautions were necessary since they live in a Rural area but now they are all sick. After 2 weeks of being very sick they now are starting to believe that Covid is as bad as everyone reported. Luckily No one gave it to Mark's 90 year old mother. Glad you got to enjoy date night and your church outing. We are staying home and avoiding crowds from now until Hayley has the baby to make sure no one gets sick.

      @Donna Gribbins - Hi Donna! Thanks so much for stopping by and watching this week! I bet Hayley's shower was just lovely, and how wonderful to have so much chicken salad left for you guys to have as wraps and leftovers this week. Pork chops sound great too! I am so sorry that Mark's family are all sick. We will add them to our prayer list and pray for their healing and recovery. I am so glad you guys are vaccinated and that you are being smart and proactive and staying home and staying safe. You need to be able to see and hold that baby soon!! Take care and have a wonderful and truly blessed day ---Stacy 😍💚

    Hey Miss Stacy, everything looks so good as usual I’m certainly going to try one of your recipe from last week sometime this week I can’t wait. Miss Stacy it’s such a blessing to see you guys out in church for months we’re under lockdown we’re just starting up open up slowly. It’s such a privilege to worship from anywhere you are to know you can have communication with the lord. Have a wonderful and bless evening keep well.💕

      @Arlene Ajim - Hey Arlene! Thank you so much for stopping by and watching! We were in a state of lockdown for quite a long time last year, but our church has been meeting for a while now. Still, there's a huge spike in cases because of the Delta variant where we live, so we feel like things may be shifting again soon. We wore our masks today and there were a lot fewer people in church. It was awesome to have it outdoors last Sunday (though it was very hot!), where the kids could run and play, and everyone could fellowship and worship together. We also believe that corporate worship and small groups meeting are an important part of our walk with Christ. We are so blessed by our church family, the pastors and staff, and our friends and church family. Such a huge blessing in our lives!! Take care and have a wonderful and truly blessed day ---Stacy 😍💚

    Hi! It’s Jenny! I am thinking you know I am from Utah by now 😂
    Last week I commented on some things you made that I’ve never tried, I think the greens and grits. Today watching, I’ve never had hush puppies and catfish… I think
    I need a trip to the south to try it all!! This is another reason why I love your content, you make the same and different food than I do!!
    I may have asked you this in the past, but what are the pickles sitting in??? That jar looks amazing!! Thanks for your great videos 💜💜💜💜💜

    • @LetsCookYall
      @LetsCookYall  3 года назад

      @Jenny Williams - Hey Jenny! LOL, I might not have known it was you (just kidding) without the Jenny from Utah comment, LOL!! Girl, you need to take a culinary swing through the south! I know there's a lot of great food, and very different kinds from area to area, like low country food in South Carolina, different kinds of bbq, soul food which is very prevalent where we live (along with EVERYTHING fried, which is one reason that Mississippi is always tops in the obesity category, we fry everything down here). Growing up, those things are as common and natural to us as breathing - fried catfish, hush puppies, cole slow, fried chicken, grits, etc. You definitely need to come visit!! As for the pickles, I do actually get asked that... A LOT! LOL! That is my very old Tupperware round green pickle holder that I received from my mother in law at least 15 years ago, maybe 20. I love it because it's plastic (I dropped a jar of pickles once, a FULL glass jar and oh, what a mess!) and it has the little tray that raises them out of the juice. I have looked online and the closest I can find is this newer, square, purple one from Tupperware: amzn.to/2VZrLzg Hope that helps!! Take care and have a wonderful and truly blessed day ---Stacy 😍💚

I know that I am rather picky, but as you said, in comparison to some other people, I know I'm not as bad as I could be, LOL! We have a teenaged family member who still really only eats about a half dozen things. I worry for that young man, if he'll ever grow out of it and learn to eat and try more foods. I keep trying things, though there are still A LOT of foods that I just don't like the taste of. But I do keep trying!! hope you guys are well and will have a fantastic week ahead. Take care and have a wonderful and truly blessed day ---Stacy 😍💚

      @@LetsCookYall Wanted to let you know the Italian Chicken was a huge hit. Made it with 3 x-lg chicken breasts according to your notes, but subbed some white wine for part of the water and added a dash of vinegar and a bit of evoo. Seasoned the chicken heavily before cooking per your notes. I thought there might be too much liquid after cooking the chicken, so I drained it into a large measuring cup and added it into the mixing bowl a bit at a time while mixing the soup and Philly. What a lovely, glossy sauce! Put it back into the cooker with the shredded chicken to heat for an hour and served with long grain & wild rice, corn on the cob, and salad. What a feast! Hubs loved it!
      Thank you!

      @@mixedupjo - Oh, that's awesome! It sounds amazing, with what you used and especially that you seasoned the chicken well (a lot of crockpot recipes really baffle me because they just use s&p or maybe garlic salt and I'm like, that is NOT enough! LOL!). It sounds like a great meal and I'm so happy that it worked for you! I love using my crockpot or West Bend year round, but especially in the hot summer months. @mixedupjo - One last note, if you like asian flavors, we have an easy Teriykai chicken that I make in my West Bend using boneless skinless chicken thighs. This is a VERY old video, so the quality is not as good, but the recipe is spot on, if you like asian flavors (we do, if you've watched here very long, you've probably already learned that Chinese is my favorite food!). You can serve this over rice or noodles and with any kind of side, just an easy teriyaki chicken. Video is here: ruclips.net/video/qdrgi5GsdGQ/видео.html. Enjoy!

      @ShelbyLynn Williams - Hey ShelbyLynn! Thank you so much for stopping by and watching this week! To answer your question, there is apparently a lot of different ways! LOL! Pretty much everyone I asked IRL (in real life) told me a different way, that they had done it that way and it worked great for them. One said to blanch it and cold shock it, one said to husk and put directly in freezer bags and then take out and cook completely (which is what we did) and another told me to toss them, husk and all, in freezer bags and freeze, then defrost and cook completely. We did husk them, did not cook them at all, just put in our FoodSaver bags and vacuum sealed. I took our two ears and defrosted and then popped in the microwave and they were just fine for us! Does your church believe you have to be baptized in water to be saved?

    • @LetsCookYall
      @LetsCookYall  3 года назад

      @Mr. Mister - Hi there! Thank you so much for stopping by and watching, and especially for checking out our Church at the Park segment at the end. We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and by professing our faith in Him as our Lord and Savior, and confessing our sins, then we will be saved. Baptism is encouraged, because it is an outward confession and expression of that inward commitment that we have made with our Savior. To be buried (baptized in the water) with Christ in baptism, then we are raised (lifted from the water) to walk in the newness of life that we receive as HIs adopted children and heirs. It's a beautiful picture of God's love and redemptive plan. We must just have faith, confess our sins, ask Him into our hearts, and then resolve every day to be His hands and feet and make disciples. What a joyous thing, and a joyous journey here on earth, until we can go home to be with Him!! Have a blessed day ---Stacy 😇🙏💚
