I have a feeling that this years Macy's Parade might have a new DreamWorks balloon in the parade (New Puss In Boots movie by December, I think The Croods have a show, Bad Guy is rumored to have a animated series, Madagascar has a series with the main characters as kids, Trolls 3 is rumored) so we might have a 5th year of two DreamWorks balloons in the parade.

There are 3 balloons that are missing:
1. Kool-Aid Man
2. Papa Smurf
3. Adventure Time
They got retired. The second balloon you mentioned (Papa Smurf) came back in 2021 and is SOMEHOW still in commission however.
They should've came to the 2016 Parade
