  • Hi I’m a farrier from the U.K. Today I will be trimming Paddy. As you can see Paddy has developed thrush infection in one of this frogs and today we will be treating it.
Don’t forget to like and subscribe to my channel as I upload horse shoeing and trimming videos on a regular basis.
Hope you have a great day and I’ll see you on the next video 🤙

One of my horses gets a bit of thrush in his heel cleft. My farrier recommended pushing a bit of table salt in there a few days in a row. I have to say it cleared up quickly. Copper Sulphate mixed with Vaseline also helps with minor infections on hoofs and it sticks around a bit longer.
Sometimes the simple solutions are effective. 🤠

Great job as always Peter! I'm glad your daughter is home and feeling much better! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Paddy is absolutely beautiful! I have a question, is it harder to work on horses that have longer feathers then those that don't? I'm a moderator for a channel that breeds Gypsy Vanners and their feathers are so long! I imagine they get in the way while you're rasping the front of their hooves. Or do you wrap their feathers so they are out of the way? I was just curious. Keep up the great job! Stay blessed. Continued prayers for your daughter! Keep the videos coming! 💖🥰❤️🤗🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

If they have really long feathers i will use rap to keep them out of the way. Thank you appreciate the support 😊

can you also share a video from what you are seeing with trimming? so called POV ? i love that you are comfort the horses you are handle. being a farrier is a great work i think becuse you can think about pain relieve and what is the best for the hoof. some cow farriers expirience that they got recognize by the cows because they gave such pain relieves.
