Your relation to animals wouldn't have much impact on it. Like, you may be more in tune with the spider your killing or wild animal that your afraid it's Energy, but nothing will harm you because you kill a bug or whatever. Spirits will not seek you out for those reason

What I like about the craft community, you respect nature. You do good spells to get what you need....I am not talking huge materialistic stuff....but what you need in life. I agree with energy fields and how we use and manage our energy fields are important. You do good spells to help other and your knowledge of healing herbs etc is amazing. I think tarot cards, astrology charts etc are just a guide.....if used with responsibility. You also celebrate the strength of womanhood and femininity, which I like. And you have a good knowledge of the planets and the moon. Yes there a deities but each deity has a specific task. Some people speak straight to the Creator , but if you speak to a specific deity, that deity represents the Creator as well. I don't have a problem with that. Everything the trees, rocks, water, animals and people are part of the Creator, part of the whole. Some may worship the Moon but the Moon is part of the Creator. When you admire and respect nature, you respect the creator. A bit like admiring a painting, we acknowledge the painter. This video clears up a lot of confusion. Unfortunately there are people in religions, psychic communities, pagan communities and the craft community, that use their "gifts" for bad stuff. Use discernment. You need good and bad to exist as a person. There is no one who is 100% good. That’s imbalanced. We have all done “bad”. So trying to separate people from light and dark it’s just wrong. We need the dark to let all things rest. We need bad to tell us what is the “good” thing to do.

@@gwenpendragon316 My comparison is perfectly sound. If you aren't making Barnum statements then it seems to me that at least three other statements may be true:
A) You have special powers that let you read people and know things about them that they didn't reveal
B) You are a skilled discerner and inferer of information based on what others subconsciously reveal to you
C) Since you said a 'friend', you simply comforted someone who needed a shoulder to cry on and a friendly ear to unshoulder some of lifes crap, with a few reminders of his or her good qualities as a means of encouragement.
I don't think you could find anyone who genuinely understood the hooey, and the psychology behind it, who could honestly say they have bought into the ritualistic thing other than for fun.
If they did they most likely wouldn't go seeking out 'witches,' or 'psychics,' or other people that take reality and place it in the context of fantasy, and paying through their teeth for it. Though I am in no way suggesting you are taking peoples money, merely stating where credulity can get people.
