i think doing their discography chronologically would be great. you get to see how they evolve as a group. both Baekhyun & Chen recently released song covers also both english songs. they did Sza's Snooze & Ava Max's Christmas without You respectively. hope you do check that one out. i think when EXO going on to those music programs early on to their career (2 years) really gave them the exposure & solidified their title as a reliable vocalist especially to both Chen & Baekhyun. wish they would go to more shows like these because people need to hear more of their voices especially non-kpop audiences. what i like about EXO members solos is that they do different music genres that they would normally do as a group w/c is refreshing. hope you check out more of their solos & sub-units too.

I read a story about a man that was brought over to South Korea as a baby during the war by his parents. While they were escaping they got separated and the mom was left in North Korea and the son and father made it to and lived the rest of their lives in South Korea. They hadn't seen or spoken to the mom since the day they were separated. During the meet up day the son, who was now 75 years old, got 5 minutes to meet his mother, who was in her 90s, for the first time since he was a young boy. So this song is a very sad and beautiful song that showcases the vocal powerhouses that are Chen and Baekhyun's voices.
Suho is an excellent vocalist! He even does musicals like; Mozart or The Man Who Smiled. One reactor even said he is the most stable singer of the group. With a strong voice.

Suho put the group together and the bass player actually composed the title track 1to3 from the same album that Cheese was on. He tours with this group for his solo concerts. You should start watching all Kyungsoo live performances, he's been viral since 2023. Man was held back by SM especially as a main vocalist, but he's gaining the recognition he deserved last year started from Rewrite The Stars, it was too phenomenal.
I personally like Baekhyun's album. He got variety that I like. He got RnB, pop, jazz vibe, ballad, some mid tempo and sweet songs, and something chill. But if you like something acoustic and easy to listen and laid back songs, you gotta check out D.O's album. Out of exo, his voice is the most beautiful and attractive vocal tone. If you like something slow and ballad, something emotional and nostalgic, check out Chen's album. He also got mid tempo songs that is also a good vibe. His voice is really good for OST, so he also got some similar vibe in his album. If you're into something rock and classic slow with rock elements, I think of Chanyeol and Suho. Tho mostly, Chanyeol has more of it. Example of it is Chanyeol's 'tomorrow' and 'Nothin', and his movie ost of 'The Box' and other songs included on it. There's more I just can't think of it right now. If you want something funky, fun and mid tempo songs, you gotta check out exo's subunit EXO-CBX albums. If you like classic and good songs, I think of Suho. He also got varieties. And Kai's album is also creative, he's one of the best concept. His vocal tone is also unique which is also my favorite, besides his good dancing and sexy aura. I can say that his album is also one of my top 3 in exo. Xiumin and Sehun, has more that pop music. theres one short clip went viral during cream soda era last year. the clip shows Chen's breathing technique to recover from exhaustion during live dance and vocal performance. all of exo main vocalists practice the same recovery breathing technique. i think the late jonghyun of shinee also used the same breathing technique. maybe they learned from the same vocal coach because same company
I mean they were so good even from the beginning and have improved since then. Chen and Baekhyun actually went to the same audition and they both joined at the same time - the last of the members to do so. They sound great together too!
I would love to hear them sing this again, now that they've got more experience with life. I'm sure the quality will be similiar, but the emotional depth will be next level.

my favorite genre is people reacting to guitar solo in Cheese I just love it so much. about album recommendations... as a 10 year exoL, I think it's better to start with something where all of them were together without the K and M division. I'd recommend starting with 'Love me right' (repackage of 'Exodus'). earlier albums have their own treasures too though especially 'Overdose'
