There is nothing wrong with parties on one side putting forward candidates in a strategic manner. It is not illegal, in fact, it is sensible. Only 33% voted for the right, that isn't taking away people's right to vote for who they wish.

Just as Castro/Trudeau is doing in Canada and as Aherne was doing in NZ till they had the sense to throw her out. The Indian/Irish Teashop is another one of Schwab's protegees and it shows.
I dare say Sunak is a follower too. There's plenty of evidence to suggest it.
The left in the Netherlands tried the same trick as Macron but failed thankfully and now we have Starmer in the UK who said not so long ago that he preferred Davos to Westminster.

It is ridiculous to describe a party that gets 38% of the vote "far right" by the way. And on this basis it is odd that the corresponding left bloc is not similarly categorised unless there is a specific political bias behind it...

Oh dear France really is in trouble now. Our owners can't keep kicking this down the road a day of reconning is fast approaching and needs to come sooner rather than later. The more they put off the reaction the more terrifying and destructive it will be.

Glad to see France standing up and putting nation ahead. If the Right had won it would have eroded support for Ukraine. And France is one of the nations that can really take the lead.
Simple fact: in the second round Mélenchon’s Left Alliance lost 2.4% in vote share while RN’s share increased by 3.8%. Whatever your views on the policies of the various factions, that is what happened. In the UK election Reform achieved 14% of the vote and got 5 seats.

So the national vote share doesn't really explain what people voted for. It just explains what they voted against.

I guess Farage was "stopped" too, since Reform didn't get a lot of seats. But it got to a massive vote from nowhere and the Conservative party may be mortally wounded so spinning it as a loss takes a lot of spinning. Same for LePen, whose vote massively increased. Saying a surge has been stopped when it is actually making so much progress is blatant gaslighting.
