When I saw the shape I thot it would be a bowl cozy! That’s what I’m planning to do! To put them in the microwave they must 100% cotton, but I never do, I just use them to hold a hot bowl taken out of microwave! Genius!
I had a scrap piece of pre-quilted fabric, double sided, so I used that and it came out beautiful. I love this design, I can leave it open and still have it on my side table within easy reach.

Is there a reason for sewing the outside edge of the quilted piece by itself, then re-sewing it to the backing? Why not just sew both at the same time.
This is a sweet project, if you need a glasses case. But it is definitely NOT quick. I'm constantly surprised at how many RUclips videos promise it's "quick" when that's completely wrong. But nice case for glasses.
