Really good video. Love the work culture here. I used to get calls almost every weekend and late nights while I worked in India. No one calls us here after work hours and over the weekends. I have worked overtime just a few times to meet some critical release timelines. But it was always paid. In India, we never got overtime pay but overtime was always expected.
This isn’t the case with every company in Sweden. I was working with a firm called EY (Ernst & Young) and had to part ways within three months of joining due to a toxic work culture. While Sweden is often praised for its work-life balance, this largely applies to Swedish citizens or those in certain fields like IT. Many international professionals face challenges such as language barriers and are often assigned more demanding tasks. From my experience and conversations, individuals from developing countries or less economically developed nations, often need to work significantly harder to prove their worth. It’s worth considering these aspects before being drawn to the image of Sweden’s work culture, as it may not be equally accessible to everyone.
@@roamwithashutosh I completely agree with you, and I’m not directing this at you. You made your point very clear at the beginning of the video. This is just a general comment to help raise awareness.
Hello brother Im from Nepal and I have been following you since long, Now I am planning to come Sweden with my wife for bachelor’s. Can you please make a video about bachelor’s life with dependent or solo, including job crisis, accommodation, how to sustain, what are the basic jobs, what are the firstly paid salary, a common job for no experienced one, Wife student hai to husband ka kya kya scene hota hai, where we should live if we don’t have any relatives or friends there?. It will be very helpful for new comers. I will be waiting for your kind response bhaiya❤❤
In the Indian office, seniors do show off and say they used to work 36 or 48 hrs, or more with a meager salary, and in-office politics work stress and religion differentiate castes and whom we have voted for. Sometimes females feel unsafe, most of the seniors don't want or know the concept of work balance(according to them work balance kuch nhi hota only slavery ), or if someone is on holiday which employee has earned it like 1 week or more seniors will taunt them and feel jealous, and give them extra work or sometimes tell them to resign. There is a rule in MNC companies that seniors never tell juniors that every 2 hrs employees should walk or relax their body, especially their neck, and arms for 3 to 5 minutes.
Hi thank you so much all the informationyou shared is accurate. I have been working in sweden since 1 year. Could you please share how do we register for union? Kindly share website it would be helpful.
I live in Sweden and would like to meet one day....just one suggestion...please don't promote Dhruv Rathi on your channel...we love our Nation more than anything and would not support any anti national person like Dhruv Rathi

I have clearly mentioned, it's not generalized, there can always be exception. Depends on the company
