At 14:20, can you please clarify what is going on? What causes all that build up under the valve cover? Is it because the hot/high pressure combustion gases have leaked upwards from the cylinder past the faulty copper washers at the seat of the injector, into the valve cover, resulting in burning oil mist from the spray bar? The other question; is there a secondary low pressure seal higher up on the injector to prevent oil mist in the valve cover getting out past the injector body? I understand that a leak on the copper washers is not always visible at the top of the engine (which suggests there is a secondary seal on the body of the injector)? Thanks in advance, great videos by the way 👍.
@@MrNiceGuy94has the Injector got a rubber o ring then ? Or do your mean the metal washer that seals the injector from combustion chamber , trying to gain some knowledge and your the man
ruclips.net/video/EyGUPtvvUbE/видео.html The PCV valve seems to be a lot smaller on my vehicle (2014 Mazda 6 2.2D) Was there a revision to the cover at some point? It looks like the vehicle you're working on here almost has a catch can built into the PCV valve. Thanks.
Nice useful video always :D
Köszönöm szépen!

it was caused by long oil change intervals and the top rubber injector seals leaking.

Need to do this with mine, and as you said, more detail on the exact failure of the injector would be good, thanks, great video
@@MrNiceGuy94 This is why I only use Castrol Magnatec 10W 40W in that engine when I work on it.
Vielen dank!

"proper decent mess", perfect description. How Mazda is still selling these massive POS diesel is beyond me.
Where are the spark plugs located on this engine?
its a diesel bro
Japanese petrol cars are much better, especially slightly older versions. Driving Honda K24, what a engine - bullet proof and good acceleration
Issue is a always injector 1. Its clearly mazda's fsctory fault
But in this video is injector 4
