  • 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 We explore scenic Torrisdale Bay on Scotland's wild North Atlantic coast!
In this penultimate episode in the Scotland series, we wake to an inauspicious-looking start to the day. There are grey skies and a Highland drizzle, and the Land Rover has a flat rear passenger-side tire. After carefully considering the situation for a short time, we make the decision to go and have a Full Scottish Breakfast while we call the AA for a tire service assist.
It takes a little while for the AA to arrive, and in the meantime, the weather has started to clear up. By the time we leave the Bettyhill Hotel, it is late morning, so we decide to stay in the local vicinity and follow the directions given to us by our landlord, looking for the Borgie Bridge and a footpath alongside the River Borgie leading to Torrisdale Beach.
We locate the bridge and follow the footpath along the riverbank. We attempt, for the first time on this trip, to do some real-time vlog-style commentary as we walk along the river, but forget that the waterproof case on the GoPro is preventing any useful level of audio recording. That was a fail, but the footage looks good and the river is very scenic. River Borgie one of the primary Salmon fishing rivers in the region.
The riverside path turns out to be a bust and we hit a dead end. Backtracking, we drive along the riverside road looking for the footpath that will lead us to Torrisdale Beach. We somehow miss the sign and end up driving through the picturesque villages of Torrisdale, Achtoty, and Skerray, stopping at Skerry Harbor to take in the scenery.
Backtracking again, we do find the sign for the footpath to Torrisdale Beach, and follow the trail, across a couple of wooden footbridges, following the River Borgie to its estuary and Torrisdale Beach beyond.
At the beach, we use our drone for the first time on this trip to capture the view. The beach is pristine white sand and was deserted.
Soon the weather kicks up, the wind lifting the sand as it gusted out to sea, whipping the white caps into a frenzy. We capture a little of this on video and then as the daylight starts to fail, head back up to the vehicle to a light sprinkle of rain.
This day features the least amount of driving (and hence, driving video) on the entire trip, and so the nature of this video is somewhat different. We hope you like it!

good night we are quarantined here in my city What's up? I did a little footage of the city center, all closed commercial sectors ... all this is strange, you can go to RUclips and send it to you, see something that happens on Sundays or holidays.

Thanks for sharing the video. Similar situation in many places in the world. I hope things return to normal before too long.
