In the fact-based new film “The Zookeeper’s Wife,” Oscar winner Jessica Chastain plays a woman who helped save the lives of hundreds of Jews during the Nazi occupation of Poland. She tells TODAY it was a “labor of love” to play the part, and opens up about doing her own piano playing for the movie.

What an amazing movie this was! Jessica was absolutely brilliant in her role
as the Zookeeper's Wife. I can't understand how this movie , and Jessica--didn't win an Oscar.
Were they even nominated? All of the actors were so brilliant! It was an excellent piece of art.
