Before mounting the headlights, make it difficult to rip the wire out of it. 1) Unscrew the back cover where the wire comes out of it. 2) Tie a knot in the wire positioned just barely outside the assembly, or further along if you wish to shorten the wire without losing any of it. The knot needs to be on the wire between the headlight and the back cover of the headlight. 3) Screw the back cover back on the assembly. The knot should be inside the headlight assembly, very difficult to tear out by accident.
@@FlipskyTech Hi! So I bought the Ft85BD ESC and the VX4 v6 version and the remote came with 8 pin UART connector, but the ESC came with a 7 pin connector wire. Can you guys send me the 7 pin Uart wire or * pin Connector that fits? I can't get a read on battery percentage, power, speed, or any stats. Everything works, just no stats. Please help as soon as possible! Thank you guys!
Hi again! Forget my last comment please as I have found a work-around. I managed to find another connection that had an 8-pin male end that I was able to de-pin and re-pin with the needed wires. I wished I didn't have to do that, but overall, still works. Thanks again!

Which VX4 remote do I use? The V4 version or the V6 version for the FT85BD? There are two different models on amazon.
