Man, I don't make enough money to make something like you have. :)

You’d be surprised. Honestly a lot of layouts are just examples of patience and savings. Most of my clients built their train collections for decades before they called me.

    Great choice of power packs
The lift bridge looks good, do you have a video on it's construction?

The lift bridge is a product from another company. About the only thing I did was make different hinge brackets as the ones that came with the bridge were too small for my taste.

I'm a Delaware native! I live in PA now, just over the DE/PA border. As I recall, you do layout design, as well as, build the layouts. Can you comment here or do a video on the design process? What info does a client need to supply for you to do a design?

I will add this to my future videos list. Essentially however what I need is pretty basic. Detailed dimensions of the room, scale, type of track to be used, type of layout (watch trains run, switching or combo), any specific industries (or accessories in the case of Lionel), geographic area you want to model, whether or not I will be building it and any other features (rivers for example) or restrictions (need xyz door to remain accessible) you have. I have most of this listed on my website but that usually gets the conversation started. If I do turn down a project Its usually due to unrealistic expectations (36" minimum radius in a 10x10 room for example) or unrealistic timeframe as these usually take me 8-12 weeks to draw and then another 2 weeks to fully quote if I'm doing the benchwork, track work and so on.

Can you please provide an amazon link to the wago-like connectors you were talking about. I couldn't get the name from the audio, and close caption said "greek" ?!

I’m living in Delaware. I’m building my own layout. 10x18.5 feet long. Where in Delaware did you build this layout? I’m in Smyrna. Delaware.
