CONGRATULATIONS & THANKS TO ALL INVOLVED IN SEGA FOR ANOTHER GREAT SEASON OF RACIN'!!
Great video....really enjoyed it....was hopeing to be able to try the SS this year in the 62' Galaxie but life happens....maybe next year!!!!!................😎😎
Ossum. One thing would make it perfect, just one camera at the finish line…..PLEASE!!
Love that Austin A40 Dorset, always wanted one, none left in the UK though. Nice to see Turner back in the Dodge, too.
How about doing a feature car each race?
I had a camera down there and I normally get the first couple rounds before it gets dark but due to all the unforeseen circumstances that delayed us on Saturday I didn’t get hardly any footage from the finish line that you could actually see the cars due to almost all of the racing being in the dark!
Excellent!!
Out of all the drag racing I've ever watched...I love this series/program THE MOST...u guys rock un-real 💯✌️❤💪
Incredible. Best racing in the world.
Another great year of racing with SEGA, thank you all ! Have a great holiday season. P.S. How is Art Copeland doing?
Exemplary manifestation of fantastic gasser dynamics, as perennially anticipated. Profound appreciation extends for the bestowal of this digital opulence. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Anybody know how I can get this years schedule?
Love the gassers and the love of GOD and USA!!
Racing so good I cut my adblocker off before I turn it on 😂👍🏻
This is awesome.. the racing is great.
But the opening prayer, our National Anthem on the Sax, pretty woman holding the Mich, dude holding the flag wearing a John 3:16 t shirt... America baby...love it🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Love watching these cars run. One day I hope to get a chance to run at one of these Sega events just for the experience. That said, I was looking at the rules, and I'm baffled with the ET's these cars are pulling while staying within the class rules. These motors must be producing a specific output of 2.5hp per cube or better which is just awesome.
I go London ky dragway for these guys decided to make the drive to NC....after my 15yr anniversary with wife in Gatlinburg Tennessee then to NC we went
Love to watch you guys, just like back in the 60's! Way to go Josh Pruett, show 'em what a '63 Fairlane can do!
That was the most awesome video ! Keep up the great work, glad to see the Ford's are competitive 👍
Complements on the camera work! Getting better every year!
You guys really need to come to Cecil County dragway. Super good track. Super bite. In rising sun Maryland.... u guys have a huge amount for followers up here as well. Thank u for the awesome racing
great stuff .. as a Ford fan this is all i watch ..
Love this type of racing gasser. Good cars and good people! I can't wait to build one.👍💪
Cars are so cool , but still not seeing the end of the track and times almost halfway through I'm done watching nothing but launches (which are cool ) but not enough to keep me here
I really like that they show the times in the finals. Man them engines are really getting some good times. Wish they showed more of there set ups.
Best racing on the planet!
Brilliant really enjoyed watching this, hope to watch it again 2024
congrads to Rich Verner for winning super stock champion ship...second year in a row....he's got that car so consistant....hope he runs it again in 2024...?...I cant belive how much weight the teck's @ SEGA have made him add to that car....!...in over 50 years involved in cars...i have "never " seen a 67 camaro tip the scales at """4110""" lbs...!..im surprised they dident make him add work'n a/c to the car...lolol...!...he has more steel plates in that car than most gym's..😁...I never understood that about "most" drag race'n....why would u punish the fast guy if his car meets all the rules & pass's all the teck inspections...?...?..NHRA has done it time & time again with the pro stock Harley bikes...everytime the Harley guys find something that works they make them add 50 lbs 2 the bikes...?...WHY....?...i thought thats what "race'n" was all about...?..going FAST ....guess i was wrong...?...☹😵...again congrads Rich, & family...well done...!
The big block started the season off 1 lbs per cubic inch lighter than the small block and was allowed a much better intake than any other combination in the class.. SEGA lowered the goal post for the big block cars because they couldn't compete with the small block in a weight to cubic inch race. And as in any racing SEGA had to make a guess at what it would take to make the big block competitive when the super stock class was started several years ago. So when the changes were made the SEGA went a little to far and that immediately put the big block chevy combination light years ahead of any other in the class. So adjustments were made little by little until the goal post was the same height for the small block and the big block chevy. As a matter of fact the Big block was still lighter than the small block at this race.
The below is directly from the SEGA rule book. You will notice that the big block chevy is still much lighter than the small block chevy.
Big blocks will be at 8.5 lbs per cubic inch with driver. Big block Chevy 8.750 lbs per cubic inch with driver. Small blocks Chevy will be at 9.75 lbs per cubic inch with driver. Small blocks other than SBC will be at 9.5 lbs per cubic inch with driver. FE big block combos will run at 8.25 lbs per cubic inch with driver. ADDITIONAL WEIGHTS
Aluminum heads must add + 100 lbs
GOD BLESS AMERICA 🇺🇸💪🚗🚦🏁👊
Great opening music to this video!!!
The most packed I've ever seen and been to dragway I hailed from Hardin co Ky. It's was great day. Yeah I heard people complaining about seating but I don't think anyone was prepared for that. Is what it is. Most important is I enjoyed it I did get to clearly see final rounds at dark
In all honesty the video is quite boring. The camera was stationed in the burn out box and should have been out in front of the lights showing the cars coming out of the hole and then another camera at the finish line filming the cars rushing towards you. But, I do thank you for the coverage.
I had a camera down there and I normally get the first couple rounds before it gets dark but due to all the unforeseen circumstances that delayed us on Saturday I didn’t get hardly any footage from the finish line that you could actually see the cars due to almost all of the racing being in the dark!
Also, Shadyside is a hard track to get a couple hundred feet past the start line due to no room on the other sides of the barriers. Once you get far enough down the track to get a good spot it’s about too far to see the start line.
@@dh.media_ You’re doing a great job!
