Agree, miss this so very much! Such beauty and an integral part of our Christian heritage. Still gives me goose bumps and a feeling of peace. Vatican two did us a grave injustice and we have never recovered!
This is a church where they celebrate the traditional Roman rite. Unlike what many people believe, the traditional (not the modern, 1969) Roman rite literally attracts crowds.
@@ThomasCarney-r9v Without a doubt. My statement was not specific to France (which is not my home country anyway). I am a "citizen of the world" and I've seen and verified virtually everywhere that the traditional Roman rite attracts crowds, including importantly lots of young people. Absolutely correct. It was wrong to translate the Kyrie into the vernacular under the Vatican II "reforms". It broke both with the early 5-6 centuries of Christianity when the "Latin rite" mass was in Greek, and it ignored that, as Pope John Paul II stated - there are two lungs to the Church...the West and the East. Removing this bit of Greek out of the Paul VI mass severed the "eastern lung". What were the reform zealots thinking?@@tinatin7949

Les chants latins DOIVENT revenir dans toutes les paroisses...et vite! Il en va de la survie de notre belle religion!
Oui, mis à part que "Kyrie eleison" sont des mots grecs, pas latins.
@@yagi3925 Bien entendu!

@yagi3925 same thing in the USA. Where the Traditional Latin Mass is, there are crowds.

Kyrie Eleison Kyrie Eleison Christe Eleison Christe Eleison Kyrie Eleison Kyrie Eleison ...
Yes, but it's sung 3 times and not 2

This should be back not modernism
A "Latin Kyrie eleison"?😆That would be "Domine miserere".
Friends, don't ruin service for everyone else. Take your kids to the nursery.
No, this is not how to raise catholic children. They belong at mass
Mass is for everyone, kids need to be there
Matt. 19:14. There's nothing ruined by a multitude of children at mass. The sound of gleeful and innocent children is beautiful to the ears of God.

Latin adopted "Kyrie Eleison" in their language, and many other greek words. But the rest of the liturgy is all latin.
