Thank you, Prof. Hunter and Dr. Carr, for having this conversation and highlighting the current crisis facing the Palestinians on Episode 188 of ICWC.
While we empathize with both peoples, there's a special identification with the Palestinians since our people have had a somewhat similar history.
It's hard not to understand the plight of a people who were forced by their British 'protector' and the United Nations to accept integration with a people (whose ideology, culture and religion are different than yours).
Not only that, but a people who're now threatening you and making your very existence more and more frustratingly untenable: losing your homeland to the 'occupier'.
It seems as if the 'world's powerplayers' are intentionally discounting the plight of the Palestinians, just like they've discounted the enslavement and tribulations of our people.
This crisis is exposing the hypocrisy that exists when it comes to the suffering of certain people.
Thanks, again, for addressing this situation.
Btw, there's a very good book by David Fromkin (dec) which speaks on this subject: "A Peace to End All Peace" with a forward by former Clinton Secretary of State, Madeline Albright (dec).
    🙏🏾🖤💯

Morality doesn’t apply to rape, occupation, and genocide. Such theoretical notions are abandoned by the perpetrators. The victims of such attacks must respond however they can. If the colonized respond according to the emotional desires of academics, then the people will continue to be annihilated. Those who are serious about liberation must be clear on what an enemy is, and willing to do what is necessary to make it too costly for the violators to continue in comfort.
Be Clear: The Palestinians are not occupying Israel; Israel is occupying the Palestinian people. Genocide may have many participants but that clarity should be obscured by a “many sides” narration. Palestinians have been under genocide by Israel since 1948.

It is true that the Jews in Israel are not concerned with the plight of the African American people or any other people. Their focus is only on them and what affects them and what they want.
When something happens to them, then they want the world to be outraged and feel sorry for them and give them all the help in the world.
They deny they had a part in the slave trade as well. I don't condone what Hamas is doing, but
look at how the Jews in Israel have been treating the Palestinian people for years.
Netanyahu hates the Palestinians and expands settlements that only Jewish people can live in.
That is prejudice and racist and Israel is an Apartheid State.
They don't like the Palestinians nor the Christians but they accept American money or rather the billions of dollars we give them,
      $4 billion dollars each year.
They see nothing wrong with what they are doing to the Palestinian people but they want the world to remember what was done to them in the Holocaust.
They treat the Black Jew in Israel badly and want them to leave Israel.

I don't always need to see someone else practicing humane behaviors to practice humane behavior myself- BUT- if someone has demonstrated INDIFFERENCE to my struggles, abuse and mistreatment, then YES- my empathy will only go so far.
      Second-
If I have to "run the homework" to know or determine if someone has been in my corner- then they probably haven't been there in a strong capacity in the first place.

Spike still has issues getting funding for films, while Martin does not. Hollywood has always done selective investing based on a narrative they want to portray across the world. Name a film where Martin has viewed African Americans in a positive manner. Also, research how "The Wolf of Wall Street" was funded on the back of the Malaysian people by money drained from the 1MBD fund, which totaled $3.5 billion. DeCrapio had to pay restitution to the US government along with Red Granite films, the production company who funded the film that ended up repaying 60 million. Review the Jho Low story via "American Greed" to see how he is still hiding in China with billions of dollars. The irony of this is laughable and would make a great realistic movie script for Martin!

*2nd CHRONICLES 7:14 (text further down below):
First) WE MUST TURN back to OUR ALMIGHTY CREATOR GOD'S ways.
We are paying daily for the sins of our ancestors and ourselves.
Read DEUTERONOMY 28 in its entirety. In it HE told our ancestors that IF they obeyed HIM-positive things would happen; BUT if they Disobeyed HIM then NEGATIVE things would happen. (THEY Disobeyed.)
    Thus, many generations have suffered.
But OUR ALMIGHTY CREATOR GOD still wants to bring us (our stiff-necked ancestors' children) BACK to HIM as per HIS covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, etc.
    READ:
2nd CHRONICLES 7:14: If MY PEOPLE WHO are called by MY name will HUMBLE themselves, and PRAY and SEEK MY face, and TURN from their wicked ways, THEN I will hear FROM heaven, and will FORGIVE their sin AND heal/RESTORE their land...
IF we really ARE GOD'S chosen people, shouldn't we OBEY HIS WORD? (above)

This is an origin story. Same for the Muslims. Same for the Jews. In fact, the first five books of the KJV are the talmud. I mean how creative is that? You got a chosen people out here and ain't nobody gettting direct downloads in Hebrew translated directly into English, nowhere, yet we covet these peoples culture and way of life over our own. Everybody suffers. EVERYBODY. Jew or Gentile. Believe what you will for self, however, do not make it a collective determination for everyone. Gog offered up free will early and I take it everyday.

The first thing Israel should’ve done is not attempt to displace, dehumanize and demonize all the people who were there before it. Failing that, any answer anyone can think of and come up with will end in what is happening now. So the answer is simple.

Trillions of dollars and AMERICA could have built the walls and or have State of the Art border detection and protection.
America doesn't want to protect the border or they would have done it by now. Trump could have done it.
If we can fund in the billions and trillions of dollars foreign middle eastern countries and the Ukraine, it could be done.

They have all there rockets and military equipment stashed underneath hospitals schools and peoples homes. They launch rockets to Israel all the time from these areas.
Hamas is human animals barbaric. Crazy part of everyone has stopped talking about the 200 hostages they still have

@shalonsmith3653 How long has Israel dropped bombs on the Palastine people? You characterize Hamas as animals but give Israeli's a pass while they bomb children and families sheltered in hospitals and churches because they made tunnels to protect themselves from the constant bombing from Israel? Are you seriously bringing up 200 hostages when Israel has jailed, killed, and deprived millions of people basic human rights. The land Israel hijacked with British support belongs to the people of Palastine, not Israel. Pay attention to the message Dr. Carr is providing and learn the truth!
