This is an old sound. A continuation of the Bonner/Roberts/Steele Tallis Scholars sound: rich, bright, tastefully ebullient, and almost downright indulgent.Hope this continues, because no one else is replicating this, not even the Scholars.
The altos sounding very countertenorish, surprised it was a female sound :) love this piece, didn't know it before
