This is my favourite Song and LOVE how Angela and Paul performed it.... OMG just can't take it in... I am sitting here with tears flowing down my cheeks thinking of the last time I saw her perform this in NY....May her beautiful soul rest in peace..Much love to her family and especially Paul.
So beautifully different and differently beautiful. Rest in peace, sweet Angela. 🌹🩷🕊
You were taken too soon, Angela. We will remember forever your beautiful music, gorgeous voice and kind soul. Your music got me through so much in my life. Thank you. 🤍 We will all miss you. All my love.
RIP. Beautiful artist and singer.
My best friend, who was an artist, died four years ago, and today is his birthday and I looked at his old RUclips channel and there it was... a cover of one of Angela's songs, as always my friend keeps shining and help me discover great artists, he loved music so deeply that it kept him alive through depression and that ineffable darkness that we carry around, the deep emotional waters of sensibility, that give us inspiration to be kind... this strong and poignant song brought my friend back to me... thank you: "My love is like the wind."
I am so profoundly sorry for your loss. I'm glad you found solace in Angela's voice and sense of song-styling. xx
@@tracyfortune3297 Thank you Tracy ❤️
⛈️💜
My favorite female vocalist ever. From the first time I heard the wild colonials till now...what a gift.
I was truly shocked to hear she passed. I really really liked her as a vocalist. RIP.
Wow. She looks and sounds pretty similar to my soul waking up in the morning. So heartily, Angela, thank you!
Fantastic Pianist
her husband ;-)
@@s.skupsch1876 match made in heaven. For real, this is just nice.
I do not know how on earth that I missed this lady and that magnificent voice! I first heard her last night on her "My Funny Valentine" video. Just pure perfection in her voice! She is my new favorite!
Oh Angela, my heart is broken for your family. You were truly one of a kind. May you rest in power.
It is raining today...
from the sky eyes.
Thank you, Angela for your voice and your wings. May your flight be a joyous one. 🕊
Это невозможно! Просто нельзя быть такой крутой!!! Этот голос - божество, вещающее с небес. Она уже не молода, но продолжает быть лучшей! Я влюблена! Благодарю за Великое творчество.
Une de mes chanteuses favorite
Hope you are doing well ANGELA... sure miss swinging and swaying to you in Hollywood.... those were the days. PLAY AGAIN SOON in California.
Her voice is the love child of Amy and Adele
A piano, a voice and lyrics... PERFECT ❤️💥🔥 My Valentine 2021.
Mad love since the Wild Colonials days until I die. Thanks Angela for sharing your gift.
J'adore cette voix!!!! Une grande dame!
Angela DOES sound similar to Amy Winehouse! That's her husband, Paul Cantelon, accompanying her on piano. I knew him when I was a teenager in the '70's from Christ Church in Washington, DC, when y'all lived in McLean, Virginia. His father, Dr. Willard Cantelon was an evangelist. I heard heard his father passed away in 1999. So, Paul, IF you're reading this, HELLO from your old pal, Debbie! (flashback - we attended Karen and Rob's wedding in DC together in 1978!)
deb1here know them well. Paul is amazing
Angela has been around a lot longer than Amy though. However, when you hear Adele and Amy they kind of sound like her.
GOD she has a beautiful voice....AHHH...love it!
Wow! recently discovered her and now i find out she passed?? that makes me sad
The ending is absolutely delicious
Love!
Hermosa versión de "Wild is the Wind" la que hace Angela

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
margo Guryan's "Lonely Woman" song by Freda Payne brought me here!
BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!!!
Ns love you 💖💖💖💖 0:45
Dang, when you got it, you don't lose it.
Who is the pianist?
Her husband
she sounds like Amy winehouse at times...
risycat Sure, if Amy Winehouse had a better voice.
+Dan Übec I agree 100%. Amy Winehouse couldn't hold a candle to Angela McCluskey.
Her voice moves me.....
She was around long before the late great Amy.
They're both Altos. They both sing kind of nasal. I really like warm metallic, brassy colour being produced in this part of her voice
I love Angela.. but I can't understand why there is no mention of the name of the pianist.. Come on.. He takes a big part in this performance, and credits should be given to him..
pAUL Cantelon is the pianist
50х
:)
damn, i love her voice, but my ear is having trouble taking how flat she sings a lot of the time. It's like i just want to get up their and tell her to freaking lift her voice up haha.
If Nina Simone was white, this is her !!
This comment will make her proud!
I thought she's black.
nice voice but copied from the greats Billie holiday can hear them all appropriation is never ending some times but nice vocals tho
chantelle brown Angela has always sang like this. Appropriation? Maybe we ought to take it up with God who gave her that voice. A voice is a voice is a voice is a voice. There are white people born with dark hair and skin. Maybe they are also guilty of appropriation. SMH. Where does it end?
xD
Got a letter from our ancestors who started walking as bipeds... they called appropriation on us Man... we gotta start walking on 4 limbs as to not offend anyone. SMH
chantelle brown I like her voice, too, and yes, she and Amy Winehouse, among others, are very reminiscent of Billie Holiday, who set the bar.
Fantastic Pianist
