I found my own fun and shocking, but I knew NMIXX would be my top group and Newjeans my second I was excited for how much time I listened which was 14,315 minutes, my top song was Passionfruit by Nmixx
1. 4:40 I got an extra podcast section/slide for mine but other than that, Wrapped was suuuuper short. I hate how all the creativity has been sucked out of it and we're left with AI slop (the AI podcast is terrible. Mine kept on making weird noises...) 2. FLO is *THAT* GROUP! I'm obsessed with them and their debut album is incredible🔥 3. 10:02 RFR is in my top 5 for best nmixx bsides. It's soooo goood 🤌 4. 19:12 I'm also borderline wanting to stan tripleS!!!! But there hasn't been anything so far that makes me want to jump onboard the WAV train just yet
Spotify Wrapped's quality may be terrible but your taste in music is immaculate so! Btw, I saw a lot of people have their "go-to cry song" on top this year, which is kinda sad but you're definitely not alone
1. Cover me is so real (literally any of skz's songs) (i have fallen in love with Giant) 2. Having run for roses is so real too (look at my name) I will talk about how much I love skz (their 2nd and nmixx is 3rd) but then I will have Taylor Swift dominate (lol) everything.
You're not alone in liking the remixes more! Particularly with the lalalala rock ver, I def think that they should've made it the title track, I think they just played it too safe, which is sad because if there's anything that skz music should never be, its safe
no but chk chk boom festival ver and ESPECIALLY lalala rock ver are fucking amazing!! as someone who was very lukewarm to the original version of lalala, I still wonder why the song that's also called ROCK, from an album called ROCKSTAR, wouldn't have originally sounded like a ROCK SONG???
I played Taylow Swift from January to April/May so much that she is my top artist even though I am not playing her music that much recently compared to other artists like aespa and IVE.
Okay we seem to have very similar music tastes haha love that. Usually I listen to a mix of rock, metal and kpop. This way wasn't a kpop year for me though. I can't really say why but I almost never felt the need to listen to my kpop playlist. In the end only 3 kpop songs made it into my top100 and not a single one anywhere near the top (supernova and hold on tight by aespa and heart attack by Purple Kiss). Might be because while there were some good kpop releases my faves were pretty quiet (or disbanded. Hate being a nugu fan) and on the other hand it was an amazing year for metal music. I also discovered a bunch of new artists I absolutely love. Also went to multiple concerts. All in all I had a great year music wise. Kpop just didn't play as much of a role as usual. I'm curious if this is just a temporary dip or if I'm kinda losing interest in the genre. We'll see next year I guess. (ps I loove Egypt Centrals White Rabbit. Also a huge throwback for me and yes I also discovered it through weird youtube nightcore )
"That's not commitment, that's depression"
And I felt that omg loooollll
i feel as though the overall quality of Spotify wrapped has declined throughout the year… it used to be a lot more fun 😭😭😭

Top songs were:
1. PASSIONFRUIT
2. ANTIFRAGILE
3. Love me like this
4. Bite me
5. Beautiful Restriction
@DETECTIVE_linilee2 and 4 are the best
"That was so short". Girlie, yours was longer than mine. I didn't get all these months of the year thing that you got 😭
me neither!! i thought i was hallucinating seeing everyone post about the music evolution thing
@toxel74 same. I think it's people outside my country who got it
The metal to kpop pipeline never fails
For reallll (even tho i barely listened to kpop this year)
For me it was the opposite 😭 went from kpop to death core

MELTING POINT MENTIONED!!!!!!!!!
Walk Like This is such a bop dude
+82 by BadVillian and arguably their best song and it’s criminal how short it is
