I remember doing this like a bazillion times back when the game first came out and than some guy just gave me like 200 lords runes

It works, but my fear of heights makes it sadly almost impossible to do : I die from the boulder or from gravity 9/10 times.
u forgot to mention killing the dragon "Greyolls Dragonbarrow" gave me 90k runes early game.

Thank you man!! I’ve been playing Elden ring for 7 hours two of them being on fighting the dragon but now I’m level 50 and im totally ready to kick some ass!!
I was wrong I was very wrong I hate the foreskin duo.
for some reason it doesn't seem to work for me
still works, i recommend that you go get the golden scarab (20% more runes) and do this farm. just got to level 75 by doing this.

Pop a gold pickled fowled foot with the scarab and its 50% more worth it. Actually makes it worth it

Man, thanks for for this! I've beaten the DLC on one character, half of the bosses on another - finally made a fresh new character for the first time in years and couldn't for the life of me remember a good pre-boss rune farm to get me off the ground
If it doesnt work for you its because you arent close enough for the runes to reach you
This method only gives you 275 Runes per ball.
This helped a lot i couldnt find any good other easy farm

its meant for lower levels, once you reach a certain stage do not do this and move to better farms

no but the window for you to get from the dragon to the grace is smaller
