    Awesome review!
    Thank you for adding captions on which tablet you're using for people like me who like to skip back and forth to compare. Also for artists on photoshop you can always maximize the canvas size to full screen to make the most out of the screen space.

    I like the recessed USB C ports of the tablets, it'll help reduce port damage if you have a cable that housing snuggly fits in.

    i've been eyeing the artist 10 for a bit now as i'd love a display tablet that's highly portable, so thanks for the review and comparison!! I already have an artist 15.6 pro that I use at a stationary workplace, but the little tablet with a screen just screams portability and i could see myself using it while traveling or going out! Of course though, once that niche is filled in terms of tablets, i'll be looking to upgrade my 15.6 pro with something bigger :)

    I was debating whether to buy 12, 16 or waiting for 13 inch 2nd generation months ago (I was looking for this series since it has minimal design and easy to store or carry around), I watched your review for 16 inch back then, and I bought the 16 inch version in the end~! Thanks for the review, really satisfied with my purchase ^^
    The screen size is really good if you like to look at reference layer, I don’t really notice pixelation maybe because I’m not keen into detail ^^;; but it was probably a lil bit hard to navigate the canvas even though I’ve been assigned the keys on tablet for zoom in out and rotate, never really use it except for undo and redo at the end lol. But I use CSP, and their quick access has been help me tremendously, the travel length to go to menu bars and choose the desired action has been cut to only click away~! Navigating is also easier ^^

      Did you have no problem on the 16? Like does the pen work fine?

    • @potatokiu9977
      @potatokiu9977 Год назад +1

      @@hoshiuno7530 yes the pen works fine ^^, but now I get used to see it everyday I think I realized some pixelation haha
      But keep in mind, if you don’t use stabilizations and you draw lines slowly, the lines appear wobbly
      If you don’t like this, maybe you can try looking to gaomon or huion they have quite similar price range

    • @ongjanette
      @ongjanette Год назад

      What is CSP? And are you saying that the programmable buttons are hard to use and I may need to buy another accessory? I’m looking to buy my first drawing tablet, mainly for photo editing but also for some freehand drawing.

    • @potatokiu9977
      @potatokiu9977 Год назад +1

      @@ongjanette oh no, CSP (Clip Studio Paint) is a software drawing app, they have a feature where you can make a quick access button. So instead of press on physical button on the tablet, I prefer to just click on icon (on screen) that easily recognized. This was faster for my workflow, but you might have different gesture preferences ^^
      Some people like to use their keyboard to a shortcut, or simply using the keys on pen display tablet, or buying another shortcut accessories, or maybe buying a touch screen tablet so they can pinch around the screen easily. But for me as I use CSP, using their quick access feature is the best one ^^

      @@potatokiu9977 ohh, I see. Haha! Thanks for the reply. I will be going for the budget option with a good enough size then. I believe the XP-Pen 16 (2nd Gen) will cover all the bases for a beginner like me. :) Appreciate your reply!

    first of all thank you for the review, i've been looking into the artist 12 2nd gen for a while now, but recently rediscovered the 12 pro with the red ring thing (which if there i might use it but it doesn't interest me much), in Brad Colbows reviews the pen line wobble is better on the older 12 pro, but there's praise for the 12 2nd gen too for it's new qualities
    i don't think the wobble would be too much of a problem for me because i think i draw fast lines, but i still feel like i'd rather go for the one without
    i couldn't find direct comparisons of the 12 pro and 12 2nd gen so i'm not sure which one to go with
    in the import store in serbia the price difference is 12 pro is 37 200(~317e) and 2nd gen is 40 000(~341e) relatively small difference but still considerable

    • @teohontech7141
      @teohontech7141  Год назад +1

      When drawing with normal speed, the wobble is not going to be noticeable so you don't have to worry.

    • @teohontech7141
      @teohontech7141  Год назад +2

      The drawing performance is actually very similar for these two brands. Hence, I would probably choose based on design, shortcut buttons, how the cables come out from the display, included items, price, warranty.

    I'm thinking about between the xp-pen 12 (2nd gen) vs the 13 (2nd gen). is the larger screen worth the $50ish more?
    the 12 seems perfect with everything I want (and I like something portable I can kind of curl up with) but I hear people say they prefer bigger screens because of working the tools. I'm GENUINELY asking, I've never had a pen display before and this would be my first one, so It might be a bigger deal than I realize.

    • @teohontech7141
