Just a tip: always cover the address portion of your package label with clear packing tape. That way if it gets damp or rained on, the ink won't run and it can still be delivered. Have a great trip!

Planning ahead is an executive function, certainly a higher level skill. The prefrontal cortex of the brain is a major area for executive functions. I’m glad you are aware that these are skills kids need to develop over time and help assist them in learning them!
I feel attacked! Hahahaha jk I feel so behind and useless sometimes because I know what I should do but for some reasons I don't do them. I hope I can get it stuck in my babies heads. My older daughter has started doing this. I'm so proud 🥰
Yep, that prefrontal cortex doesn’t develop fully until the age of 25 in many people, particularly in males! For real! Meanwhile the amygdala, responsible for acting on impulse, develops early… Makes everything make sense, right? 😂

I 100% feel this video! Whenever we have to go somewhere…my hubby doesn’t get ready to go until about 20mins before we have to leave. Yet I’m running around like a mad woman trying to get everything together that could possibly be needed for a 3 year old. We always are at each other before a trip 😂 glad I’m not alone!!
I feel the same when me and my husband try to go anywhere, but he knows better than to ask what I was doing all morning. MF packing your bag and snacks making sure you aren’t naked and don’t starve! Lol

I think that lasagna love organization is pretty awesome! Such a great way to help others!
When I make lasagna I put sauce in the bottom of the pan, spread my cheese mixture on top of the partially cooked noodle then roll up the noodle jelly roll style starting at the short end. Put the roll seam side down on top of the sauce then top the whole pan with sauce and Parmesan cheese. You wind up with many layers of noodles. Give it a try!

A man I dated years ago would get annoyed that I would make lists before trips to make sure we had everything. (He didn’t think all that stuff was necessary) fast forward..he now makes lists and tells everyone how much they help make trips smoother and less stress. Haa.

It costs me around 30.00 to make a big lasagna so what you are doing here is amazing. And a block of Velveeta here in Canada is like 9.00 so that mac and cheese you are making as well is very outstanding. Allergies only I think should be in the options when ordering and not picky preferences. Jeepers. I love your dedication to this program. Always feels like so much work to get ready for a trip lol but it is fun the different prep from the day to day normal and then the adventure and the fun! Most men yes think they do more. My man does for sure. And yes he does a lot. But I run circles around him.... But they do not see it. So no worry you are not alone. lol. We do still love them.....

That's what I was thinking. It reminded me of a time on Thanksgiving a couple approached us asking for food saying they were homeless and the woman said she was 4 months pregnant. I offered to take them to a CVS across the street to buy milk, bread, and other staples. They said no and asked me to take them 2 blocks away to a vegan restaurant. I said no sorry I can't do that. If you're asking for free food don't be so picky. I'd understand if it was a food allergy thing.
