Indeed, but ‘akshually’ it is based loosly on the Porsche Vision GT steering wheel. It more of a luxury hypercar wheel, than a purebred race car wheel. However the dash paired with dash editor opens up a lot a possibilities, even if it (still) lacks Simhub support. A new feature is also having telemetry options for the rev lights (for flags, etc.) and having the button LEDs be configurable via Pithouse rather than via button presses (as per the KS). I could see an FSR V2 or V3 getting similar features, as well as future stand-alone dashboards.
Fanatec seem to have invented their own timeframe which is measured in fractions of a century 😬 The wheel looks pretty good @LaurenceDusoswa. I definitely agree about SimHub and perhaps an open architecture but nice to see some interesting new wheels!
Leave it to Moza to innovative the market and make it more competitive and diverse, last time they came out with a truck wheel and now this. Boy are we glad that Moza exists
Another great impression vid. Really do like the look and the buttons on the back. If it wasn't for me being a VR driver, I would really consider picking up one just for the look. One question I have is would it be compatible with my simagic base? I know the quick release would work, but does it have a USB plug? Was "multitasking" while watching...
Don't you need a power brick for the universal hub as well though? How about telemetry compatibility with different games? Or only a few games supported like it was before. @@LaurenceDusoswa
I think you summed it up by saying it’s a bit of a gimmick. The screen is nice but it is gimmicky and for the price I think you could spend your money more wisely.
@@dauntae24 I also wanted to switch to Simagic, having a Moza R16, after reading various comments about the superiority of ffb from Simagic. After buying the Simagic Alpha and driving it for three days, I returned it because I didn't notice any difference with the Moza R16.
Interesting feedback yeah. See the r16 and r21 are a different motor to the r5 to r12 lineup. R16 has great ffb and any differences, if they exist, are miniscule
nice wheel, but for me KS was expensive as hell, this is another universe...in my case it definitely doesnt worth the price, in the end its a "joystic" that work same as GS/KS, especially for avg driver like me....
Yeah I guess the KS is excellent value though. It’s difficult to compete with that without bringing lots of advantages to the table. The KS is a great wheel
Ayo- We got the Bentley wheel from Moza before Fanatec.

Yep! With the little universal adapter, it works with all bases! There’s no USB plug. But there is a cable that goes to the
Universal hub.

I honestly super dig this wheel. It really stands out among the majority of sim wheels you tend to see. Happy to see Moza succeeding.
