How is this sled riding it in these lower snow conditions as it appears in the video. Thinking of getting one to ride around here in Iowa when we have a little snow as well as taking west.

Caleb Losh , it's not bad, pretty fun to ditch bang with yet still does good in deep powder. The high country is a super capable sled. Basically a M without the XF name. Yet still trail capable in most trail conditions.

looks like wisconsin, thinking about buying a 800, is it to much track for ditches and trails? I ride up near minocqua, but would like to hit the u.p.......mostly trails though, thoughts?

Chris Hansen a high country is a bit much for the trail, put the scratchers down and you won't over heat though. It's right at home in the ditches and in deep powder. Sleds basically a short mountain sled. Very capable machine no problems getting around off trail in the UP

I'm thinking about either a 15 xf high country 8000 or a 13 1100t. just wondering if the extra weight I'd noticeable when boondocking and all that

It's noticeable, the only time it was a problem for me was when I was side hilling in tight trees. Other than that sled was awesome and had a ton of power. Not the most fun sled to get totally buried either but you get over that.

does the cold air intake change that much for the lift? i want my 2014 high country 9000 to lift like that!

Up North Backcountry Riding no, the ski lift is all in the suspension set up.

Ty Rosin what would you recommend? Loosen the limiter straps?

Up North Backcountry Riding mine came on the loosest setting. I'm running my back shock at 120 and my front at 75. If you soften yours up and it doesn't help, move your back suspension to the upper hole. Also my turbo seems to lift better in firmer snow than any other condition

is the sled heavy when doing stuff like that?

The only time I didn't like the weight was when I was doing some super tight tree riding. As far as ditch banging climbing and running logging roads the sled is awesome! Being the 141x2.25 it is May more capable then I would have guess. This sled surprised this past winter, I was defiantly happy with it!

    what exhaust do you have?

    • @wingmaster2109

This is the stock exhaust, the only mod I have done in this video is an Evo Powersports cold air intake/air filter delete.
