Hey Max, is it just me or the newer sets don't really have the Duel Monsters feel to them, they are bit more clean and not "monstery enough" not sure how else to put it. Don't get me wrong some archtypes sometimes do look cool, but the monsters themselves are less and less.
On average i agree, that is connected to the artstyle in my eyes, too. A simple yet straight-to-the-point "monsterly" artwork hits immediately. With the amount of detail and many loaded artworks, it`s sometimes hard for me to even make out what is what on more modern cards. With those you need time to check out the artwork longer to understand why it might be cool as well. Another thing is that with so many cards already existing, the designing possibilities for "classic" monster aesthetics are more and more used up - similiar to the names of cards, they have to come up with weird mixtures and wildly creative oictures. That`s a challenge and from an artistical standpoint today`s cards might be more sophisticated, but i prefer the older style in most cases.
Der Hammer ,Max!Zwar keine Pulls ,aber MFC ist derart nostalgisch!Ein Set das dringend eines Reprints bedarf wie LON,LOD ,PGD!!!!(;
I love this chanel
Me too :)
Hehe, happy to hear that! :-)
I really appreciate the MFC! But sad to see ne holo. Hopefully we see Dark Paladin at some point.
Yeah, in the likelyhood that the packs don`t have a DMG, the Paladin is number 2 in terms of "I want it!"-potential. ;-)
